*nods* Yep Chris, I tried to include a visual representative of a few varieties.... the notchback, the hatch (in silvia trim), and the front grill of the SE which I noticed is different than the CA20E and CA18ET cars.

I found a couple different Sylvia "S" logos, let me post them here and you guys tell me which is closer to the one used in the S12 (as opposed to S13 and up or S110 and down).

Chris, umm hold off a bit bro until I settle/decide on which logo to use, it's still in the air as I have a couple other ideas. Patience icon_smile.gif I promise I'll have it finalized soon. I promised I'd help organize a more collected S12 club presence and I have (and couldn't have done it without Dan who is equally agressive in this endeavor hehe). I promised I would work on a logo graphic for the main site and I have.

Let me settle on the graphic, integrate it into a main page, and give you all something to be *really* proud of.

WHo knows, I may *never* buy an S12 (although presently it holds much appeal), but I will get you guiys off the ground and beating Mustangs and Camaros. Promise icon_smile.gif

200sxmetalmaniac: Dude, if you or anyone else can ponit me to a place to store images that allows remote linking, by all means tell me! I'll move all pertinent test images to there.

And BTW to those who don't know, the "J" in "J. Arro" stands for Jason.

you can store images on an angelfire or geocities or some other free space like that if you wanted. just make apage with that image as the only thing (or if you wanted a whole page with a bunch of images) and upload them to their server. then your link could be "www.angelfire.com/yourusername/pagewithimages.htm" and people can see one or all depending on what you did.
since you have to upload them to the server, depending on which directory you stored them in, for example, an images folder, you could also do something like "www.angelfire.com/yourusername/imagesfolder/image.jpg"
if the images were simply put in your root directory, it would be as simple as "www.angelfire.com/yourusername/image.jpg"

etc etc etc for any server

i tihnk theres a place called www.picturestage.com which is mroe like a photo album storage, but you could basically do the same type of thing. i'm sure theres more places like that out there too

Well I would hope that if I am designing the basic look and feel of the main page, that whoever hosts it on a server (Dan?) would provide me equal access to it to upload and maintain stuff.

Actually, I think Dan, myself, and Chris (SE guy) would be the logical choices to maintain it. Once I get a clear format whipped up.

OK, I finally got the serial number for Freehand 8 and installed it, the logo is going to be the basic Nissan rectangle across the circle, with "CLUB S12" in where the word "NISSAN" normally appears. The "S" in "S12" will be the Silvia lightning bolt (of course).

I am wondering if it should say "NISSAN" in the upper half of the circle (above the rectangle), and "200SX - SILVIA - GAZELLE" in the bottom half (with "200SX - SILVIA" above a centered "GAZELLE").

Sound good?

I want it to be somethig that can be watermarked (i.e. one solid color) so it can be made into window decals (white ones like those stupid "Piss on INSERTCARHERE" stickers), silkscreens for shirts, hats, etc.
