'86 Spec Grill and Marker Light Conversion

Here is how to do it:

Here you see how the '86 grill has screw holes so the marker lights can screw into it.

Here you see the holes I have drilled. The outer two and center one are the ones I drilled for the '86 grill. The other two are for the stock '88 grill.

Ok, I wanted to replace my old grille with the Silvia grille...i like the way it looks. Also, i wanted to design the marker lights with the three circles...
Where can i find the grille and how do i make the marker lights...well, actualy, i need some new ones because they were severely damaged in an accident. So where do i find both parts, the grille and marker lights, and how do i design the marker lights with the three circles?

the grill with "silvia" on it is kinda hard to find. You could use your stock grill then order the clear lights like mine.

Ok...so where do i find new clear marker lights? And how do i apply the three circle design like on radracer_s's 200?

But yeh...my car does not look like it does to the right. I was recently in an accident in which demolished my whole front clip. It took about 2 days to repair and replace the front clip. Some damage was inflicted on my radiator and center support beam in which the radiator is mounted. The hood would not close properly either, so i had to hook up the frame of the car to my dad's truck, then slowly pulled the frame outward. A sledgehammer here and there set everything back in place.

But now, i am left with no grille and no markers. And that skinny ass metal bar that is bolted to each fender and runs between the grille and bumper is too badly damaged. Yeah...the new front clip i bought came with that bar, but it too was bent all to hell.

I've been wanting a new design as far as my grile and markerlights go. So now, i should take that chance. Also, now i can ghetto rig the wiring under the steering column to give my car the "lazy eye" effect.

But if u can let me know where i can find the marker lights...i'd very much appriciate it. I found sites where i can actually find new hoods, fenders, bumpers, grilles, and sealed beams.

I got mine from a guy in Japan. I will make your wallet about $200 lighter though. The three circles are just painted on i believe.

You need to ask bart how he did his 3-circle lights, or it may be on his website, there should be a link in his sig just search for messages by bartc_j.

Also, gt-r, you need to shrink that avatar down a bit, as it pushes all the posts on the page off to the right. If you get it down to under 150-200 pixels wide it should be good.
