I saw this http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/vdetail.jtmpl?car_id=150233275&dealer_id=&car_year=1985&make=NISSAN&distance=any&max_price=&model=NIS200SX&advcd_on=n&end_year=1988&min_price=&first_record=26&certified=n&address=98663&search_type=used&advanced=n&start_year=1983&=&color=&cardist=149 while I was looking around on AT. Is that a factory trim package or do you think somebody just threw a black stripe on?

BTW where is Edmonds? because this sounds like a pretty good deal and I have an extra ecu sitting around.

Stuff like that could be a dealer option too. I've heard of places doing stuff like that to make their dealership stand out. *shrugs*

My question would be, how does he know it is the computer if the car is not running?? I would venture to guess it might also be the common problem of the CAS in the distributor, as people often guess the computer is at fault when the car stops running. It could also be a host of other problems too, so watch out on that one. $500 aint exactly free.

meh. I kinda just want an excuse to visit some friends in seattle. I'm taking a ecu from a 86 turbo with me to check out the diagnosis. Come to think of it I've got a dizzy from a 86 as well so I might take that along in addition.
