Hood Fabrication Ideas

Well I started to think about hoods. Then I wondered which ones (scoops, grills, ect) could be fabricated to our hoods. So heres some examples I found. If you guys have any pics of some hoods w/scoops, etc. Post'em up please so I can get some ideas.

nismo200sx16's S14 hood (of course It wouldn't be  w/carbon fiber):

Idk? What's wrong w/a little water hitting the motor? I guess one could have a spare hood & swap it out in the winter time & use the one w/the vents in the summer... @ least that's what I could do here in Oregon. We have some really hot summers.

oh it just a thought...canada is either winter (rain!) or summer...lol.  more like summer hood and winter hood...

Oh... Yeah. Well a hood w/vents would be really good in hot weather. Oregon is like in the middle between hot and cold. Lol.

I like what  Marvin (radracer s) had planned for his hood. he got a vent like on the old blitz d1 4door skyline. couldent find a pic. he cad it on his cardomain but the pic wont show up any more.

yeah, I remember those vents.  I believe the plan was shot down and he ended up selling them.

Don't Evo's have a lover-style plate under the hole to prevent water falling on the engine?

Hmmm not sure. I'm sure it won't be a major problem. I still need some more pics... If anyone has some  please put'em up.

I  took a pic of that style hood vent that radracer s had or has. its on my nitro rc skyline but you get the idea of the vent style I am talking about

I'll be makeing fibreglass versions of this bonnet in the near future.
It's just once i start getting a return on my S12 F/G kits in Australia. I'll be looking to expand to selling to overseas.
