New Car. Thanks To Draconis

Had a nice trip from Portland to Tacoma last night to pick up my new S12. Met Colin, he's a super-nice dude. Saw the RB20 car as well, very sick. I have to question the sanity of anyone that wants to modify an S12 that much. lol just kidding dude.

Anyway, got my new car. Grey 86.5 200SX. Couple knicks and such around the body, nothing bad for a car 2 years older than I am. Paints kinda shoddy, but I'll fix it up as soon as I start working. Does have that sweet voice alert system, when doors are open or the lights are on. Colin said it was pretty rare to see one still working, I'll take his word for it.

I'm gonna drive it around some more before I know what I want to do with it. I didn't feel like going outside to take a pic, so I leaned out of my room and grabbed a crappy one.

As an aside: After seeing the RB20 S12, I gotta plug RS Performance on here. Very, very good work. If I need some shop work done for the S12, I'm going back up to Tac for sure.

I take it your 200sx has the ca20 in it? The voice alert system works really well in my 85 turbo. Wait till when you are working on it and all you hear is KEY IS IN THE IGNITION, KEY IS IN THE IGNITION.

i hunted that damn voice box down and pulled it out. when my s12 comes back, its not gonna talk. i cant wait

congrads on getting colins s12 though. any more pics?

Well, I dont know about the voice system being rare in general, but in my experience, is is rare to find a working one. I am sure if you hunt long enough, you'll find a host more that still work... LOL Just talking about my experience.

Anyway, glad you enjoy it and it works out like you want it. At least this went to someone who has the time/money to make something out of it.

Mine works, but the switch...doesn't damnit.

ummm kind of i would have to figure out how to wire it to mine but i think its kinda cool i guess i might change my mind after hearing some dumb robot bitch voice after awhile
