hey everyone, a friend of mine in austrailia came across a older rhd 200sx (fj20 ftw tongue.gif ) and im tyring to get it shipped to the u.s. preferrably to seattle so i can go pick it up, any ideas how much it would cost to ship the entire car over? its either a 1986 or 1987 200sx, i thought about getting the motor, trans, wiring harness and so on shipped here; but i would probably need something off the car later. I've called a few places in seattle but havnt had much luck (either no return calls or busy sad.gif ). If anyone knows about how much it would cost to import the entire car from aus (either port hedland or perth) i would greatly appreciate the help smile.gif.

I don't think it's worth it especially because you could easily get an s12 for under a grand. Not to mention the horrible mess you're going to have to go through to get it legal. Too much of a pain and costs too much money. RHD isn't cool or practical either.

if you talking about to swap in an FJ20, thats not a bad idea. expect shipping to be a lot of money though for an entire car. try a front clip maybe?

yeah, ive been thinking about the shipping, and it seems better to have just the entire drivetrain shipped to the u.s. once i get prices from the places i called ill prob just get the engine, trans, rear and everything needed.

I've been looking all over the net and e-mailed just about every importer for a fj20 front clip, the ones that have responded either said they can't get those, or they have them but saving them for future projects sad.gif. If anyone knows where i could get a front clip or even the entire engine, trans, rearend, wirign harness and everything i would need i would greatly appreciate it, who knows i could finally finish my hatch and post some pics up on here smile.gif
