I think this one will be fairly close - all depends on what you got done to your s12. There's also the human factor to worry about. How's your sister with the manual tranny?
TalkingGoatsMay 11, 2008, 7:27 pm · #3

It depends on who is the better driver. Your car is 900lbs lighter. You have less power, but a higher power to weight.

she has no man tranny, i do.

but yea i do think it will be close,

and all my eletrical stuff has been replaced like coils and plugs

i just have to get my REVVING PROBLEM FIXED
so look at the revv problem page and solve it!

let me know how it turns out I have a race set-up with the same kind of lancer but with my ca18et I have some light mods done to it but it's still on stock boost and the lancer I'm going against has some mods too He said their cars are 120hp at the fly wheel soo....

David BMay 13, 2008, 7:22 pm · #9

i hope i do!
im not trying to pay for both admissions!

haha aside from the money i dump into the car as much as i try to save for myself!

I think you're going to lose. Her engine most likely is in tip top shape still.

David BMay 13, 2008, 8:31 pm · #11

eh, maybet, she has wrecked it alot, and also, she is the type of person that will drive like 8,000 miles on her oil no problem

silverarrow27May 14, 2008, 6:54 pm · #12

Remember though...wrecking is all body damage, not mechanical. Even driving 8k miles on the same oil before changing out still does not mean that the engine is not in good shape. Yours is an 86 and have been through a couple of owners that you have no history of how their driving habits were. Hows your compression?
