ok so the coupe has been dormant for about 2 years now.

initially, it started as a 5 lug swap that made the car sit, as i didnt have the funds to source a new master cyl for an SE to accomodate for the larger brakes. i also tore apart the rear subrame and well, just lost interest.

the car has sat for about a year and a half after the swap

over the past few months, i have begin the teardown process, as ive come along, my motivation has improved. and well this past weekend, i pulled thengine and trans [by myself] and started cleaning the engine bay.

ill upload pics of the semi clean bay, this weekend ill be filling some small rust holes, and painting a few bits to clean things up and make the bay cherry.

nothing like a little time away to rejuvinate and restart a project! glad to see your getting back into it. my racecar sat a couple of years and now its really close to being track ready! good luck!

You got rid of the black and white V6 tho right?  Wasn't that the original donor for the V6 turbo conversion or am I just talking out of my ass? lol too much to remember...

Either way, 160hp VG torque in notch= lots o fun!

Besides, extra VGs arent all that hard to find, and build later

if i recall correctly, yes

they are dirt cheap and give you room to have some meaty tires for grip

yeah they are dirt cheap! i love the look of them and size and wanted some badly.
but i was correct the first time. 4 lug for them is 4x4.25" (4x107.95mm)

  we truely are an odd bunch. both domestics and ricers would look down on us for this idea of mustang wheels on a old japanese car

Thanks after Jccs i really want to be in it so the goal is to make it next year slammed out on the Eps, flared, and painted two tone........ I was going to get zg flares but i have to fit the wheels on and make sure those flares will work.....

You are going to love the Stance coilovers...I felt their damping was a little on the high side with the 8k springs I chose...I'm running mine on damping level 4 of 16 on my SE just FYI...seems to pair well with my 9k rear springs and the AGX's set on 6 of 8.
