She finally made it! Friggin mint or just about! I cant wait till you get her all finished with this beauty. Def. a way to start off as per a S12 and all. New year and a new car. I'm jealous. Def. do a build thread on this one.

other one has extensive rust as well, all of which needed to be repaired.

this time im gonna keep it simple. get it running again and just drive it and fix any issues it has. put some good speakers in it and use my ipod through the tape deck. meanwhile, ill be working on my DET and eventually drop it in

sweet. however the rusty ol 200 should've been converted to a barb-a-que, lol! i almost forgot that you had a det too, should be a decent build. good luck

i hate you..... i can never find any S12 turbos down here....

BTW shes sooo beautiful wish i could have a S12 in factory blue

Nice.. thats the same colour as my notch... or the colour it used to be till some lil punk blasted it with primer and black rattle cans.. does anyone know anywhere to get that coour? i may know someone that could have it replicated/mixed. I hate rattle cans <- = me no good with one... i perfer an actual paint gun.

And your interior looks mint! good car... i'd guess its been treated well and taken care of decently.

I believe it's on a door tag or somewhere physically on the car - as to the paint code. Otherwise I'm sure that someone on here knows where to look for the stock color codes for the S12.

yeah that's not a stock shift knob, is it. It *does* look like it's a lot more comfortable than the stock knob, but it still looks weird.

Looks good, you'll have your turbocharger and mani soon enough.

meh I have to disagree with you on the comfort part My shifter feels like it's and extension of my hand and I still have the stock one lol

id love to start it, but theres a big hole in the side of the engine bay where the turbo goes lol. im waiting on the parts to reinstall the turbo, then ill start it. battery is dead too, so i cant listen to some CCR on that 80s tape deck.

I believe the metal plate riveted onto the driver's door jam has the colour code.

I hated the long throw.. it felt like i was back drivin a standard truck... lol I like it where i can just flick my hand and not have to start the shift out with a roll of the shoulder and a shove of my whole arm... hehe

ahh.. good ole ccr.. i think the very first tape/music i ever had was Credance... i was like 8yrs old i think... up until then i had comandeered my old mans old 8 track machine... "my ding-a-ling, my-dinga... " ahh.. memories!

Yeah, im not up on the ca18s aside from here, but i did notice the missing turbo.. hehe. Just run an extension cord and a batt charger, hook it up to an old dead bat and remember old times! lmao!

Minus the Ipod, I did that with the R32 half clip. Sort of stood/crouched where the seat would be and was all pretending I was driving as Skyline. Included were the tire squealing and turbo/bov sounds. One of the guys helping me was in front of the doing something and when he saw me pretending, he jumped to the side and yelled something to the effect of being a stupid kid driving my import and nearly killing him/pedestrian. After that and digging all the good stuff out of the clip, we got some hammers and shit and beat the clip to nothing.

Genuine 84 turbo? Damn that is a sweet find. Clean! I can understand wantin to roll around with the single cam for a while just so its rollin. Once you get the ca18det in you'll never go back though lol

surprisingly, i dont really wanna do much to it. fix the issues, throw in some better speakers, and swap out the muffler. the windows are already tinted so thats one less thing i have to do. all i want right now is a functional turbo s12 driver that doesnt drink loads of diesel fuel lol

long term plans include a color matched SE kit, black interior, more robust stereo, ca18det swap, and some suspension massaging.

LOL, i thought i was the only one how did that in CS12. lol I'd sit there and pretend a F20C honda turbo is in there. and go VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAAAAAAAAAA (Vtec)

or pretend i have a 440 supercharged hemi (lumpy idle)

or pretend i have KA29DET and it's making a mean 4 cylinder sound..........
