Hey fellow members! I decided to have my own build thread so instead of starting new threads on the events I attend to I'll just update it on this one

So first I'll just let you guys know the history of this car. The car was given to me back in 01 by my uncle (he was the 1st owner) making me the 2nd owner. The car had 89k on the odometer when it was given to me. The original paint was a grayish blue. The condition given to me was pretty bad (exterior and interior wise). The paint was fading and the interior was shot. The dash had an open wound crack and the door panels were falling apart. I got the car because I needed a car to go to work and school. At first I didn't want the car since I didn't know what kind of car it was. I was looking for a mkIII supra turbo but couldn't find one in decent condition so I just settled with the s12.

After driving it for a couple years I wanted to fix it up so I tried finding parts but could not find some at that time. So I literally gave up on the car. I wanted to modify a car so I went to a car that had aftermarket support. I bought a 93 acura integra gs-r

the life of that car lasted for 3 years due to thieves. During those 3 years the s12 just sat in the backyard only been driven on certain days and weekends or if my integ was at the shop I was driving the s12. The integ was recovered but didn't have the heart to fix it up anymore. I was looking for another Honda so during that time I had the s12 for sale but no one was interested. So I decided y not just fix this up

So I went back to my first love, the s12. So the s12 needed a make-over so I changed the color to black. From here on out the make-over just kept on progressing thanks to club-s12 and it's member's. One member that particularly made me want to fix up the s12 was Draconis. Once I saw pics of his car I was just amazed. Thanks buddy for the inspiration!

City light head lamps
custom 2.5 megan catback exhaust
Caraudiofoolery's lip kit brace
SSC springs
Tokico illuminas shocks all around
16x7 crown vic rims wrapped with 205/50/16 nitto neo gens
Jdm s13 bumper lense
MkI side markers
Cone filter
S13 momo hub
320mm momo monte carlo wheel
s13 shifter
sun auto shiftknob

So far that's all the pics that I have. I would like to thank club-s12. If it wasn't for this sight my car would not look the way it is now. Thanks to Draconis for the inspiration, mod_mastaz for helping with the install on the suspension, caraudio for the mint dash and lip kit brace and hillkill for the suspension components

i was thinking about swapping it and now im just going to keep the vg and rebuild it. i dont really want to deal with the cops and smog and stuffmy brother wants to pick up a mkII notch and that one will be swapped for sure.

Dear dude. I know that your car reminds me a lot of mine several years back but you 'stole' my reflective name decal! LOL Dont worry, not too much longer and mine will have small traces that will make it that much more different. But yet, unless you change your car, I think in some way that your car will always remind me of mine back in the day. I have the SSC springs with 17s on them. I assume you are running 15s? What are your struts? You seem much lower than me.

lol dont worry the car will get a makeover by the end of this year or next year...im planning on painting it back to the original blue with silver flakes and get some different rims

the struts are tokico illuminas all around and the rims are 16inch

For sure next year i will be submitting for the calendar...its just last year was super busy for me and didnt have good pics to submit. later on today i'll be doing a photoshoot with a buddy and we'll see how that goes

so yesterday afternoon i got to do the photoshoot with my friend. photos turned out pretty awesome considering theres ALOT of rock chips on the bumper and lip lol

thanks man but i got some SE mudflaps waiting to be put on...im just debating whether to put it on when i repaint the car or just paint the flaps and slap it on lol

update on my fix-it ticket situation...

got a new cat and passed with flying colors on the pre-inspection. all i got to do now is go to my state ref and have them smog it

having a silencer sucks balls! lol my car is way quiet now lol

well i went to my appt but i didnt recieve the message that it was cancelled so i went there for nothing and now my appt will be on monday and i found out my ticket isnt even in their system since i wanted to extend it but it never came up...weird lol

so i came back from the state ref and passed the smog BUT didnt pass the db test with the silencer on! my car got louder from the last time i got it tested...it registered 116 with the silencer...now time to change the exhaust

debating whether or not to get a whole new system or i can borrow a fellow members stock exhaust lol

What are you running?! I have a canister muffler (Maxspeed lol) with a hollowed cat and I get a 86-90db.

Edit: saw you have a 2.5, I am still mostly stock so thats probably why

yea thats what im thinking...i went to a uffler shop and they're charging me about $150 with flanges to install a stock looking exhaust so i can switch it up and the piping is still 2.5 so i dunno if that'll quiet it down

try steel wool, especially with that silencer, it should keep it from blowing out, like i have heard of happening to other people
