So I picked up a notchback this weekend. Free. Well, it cost the gas and trailer to go get it. And a four hour drive each way. Anyways it was gonna go to the scrapper, so I saved it.

No hood, fucked up fenders, no front OR rear bumper... and it was stuffed to the brim with crap.

Dirty engine...

Got it on the trailer without a hitch (har har har)...

Finally got it in the garage. Then today I took some pics...

So it's here now. Gotta clean up the paperwork and then put the outside back together.

It wasn't... the area is a nice one, ironically.

I'm not sure what my plans are yet. Sterling and I have been talking, and well, you know how that can go

Nothing too fancy, but definitely open for full experimentation if we so choose.

Right now I need to get fenders and bumpers. And no, I don't want to ship, in case some of you who might have those parts were wondering.... I'll get them locally.

Seeing the notch without an ass, I think that it would look good with a shaved rear bumper. Like the Ziptied Z31.

full black interior at yards door panels are okay. condition no tears in the panels seats are sweet carpet is okay. dash is mint it is a se hatch. sideskirts are demolished. no lip. i grabbed some random stuff today. hungs goin with me to pullt my dash later this week...

anyway what i meant to say was. yes!!!! its about fuckin time u got a notch!!! i think imma pick up a second one or maybe a s110 that ive been looking at plans for that are...... hahaha.... hung knows.

edit: forgot to mention red mark 2 notch if u wanted to do the mark 2 tail lamp conversion on the rear. at the wilmington ecology also. call me u got my number.

I've scored a free hatch parts car and a poorly running hatch. Only had like 2 notches. One CA18DET that was for like 1100 and another stock for like 400.

I just hope I will have this easy of a time finding my notch. I still dont know where Im gonna be stationed and that will play a big part. I keep hearing about these crazy finds, how do u get so lucky? Haha. Why not throw a vg in that sucker? Im sure that would be a big first.

Keith, it's a digital speed sensor, and *supposed* to be a digital dash car, but they stuck in an analog cluster (and presumably it's not connected). I have a digital cluster and will indeed be restoring it to that.

Just so you know, Gopher has tons of parts over here in Spokane. Most of them are sitting around my shop. I know he has a spare hood and fenders. The hood is nice but one of the fenders has the clasic bent sheet metal from a door opening too far. Other than that you would have to ask him whats hes got, I know theres alot more up at his parents house.

Or... part the car and scrap the metal. I need someone to sell me rear passenger glass for a notch

I think The Dart is gonna stay CA20 for now... I'm going to the junkyards today to get bumpers and whatever else I need to get it back together. Honestly I just want to get it on the road and drive it to meets. I have the KA-S12 for actual performance tuning.

No I gave it to Alex, even towed it to his house (he paid the gas and trailer costs), and somehow it ended up back at Sterling's to get put together into some form of running S12 for Alex. I guess they're gonna boost a CA20E. Hope they don't blow it up too quickly lol.
