No Street Racing??

why no street racing stories anymore?
this used to be called the Kill section, where we'd tell everyone about the Civic's we killed on the way home from work!!

Even Rev Scene Forums don't allow these stories anymore.

I can understand not wanting a section on your forum about breaking the law.

breaking the law or not, it can be irresponsible, unless you do it like us, like a big meet. 90% of races out here are on the street, cuz our tracks are shit lol.
the drifting events are alright though.

I don't think my S12 could kill many civics in a drag race. Definitely not the newer ones.

Now, handling-wise...yes.

now that is kinda true. There are many people who bullshit their stories.
I like to supply videos of my races.
unfortunately my Ex dropped my old Camcorder in the lake...... BITCH.

I lent my camcorder to my sis once.. it came back completely mishapen after it got ran over at a bush party... I ended up adopting her POS laptop tho.. no wonder it took her like 2 months to bring it back.. hehe

civic would prolly win. the most base model wouldve been a stick (since auto is considered a luxury) and has the s12 by, at the very least, a little over 300lbs, and the s12 has only got 10 more hp...plus the civic revs higher...id have my money on the civic for that one. (given = drivers)
these are numbers i scrounged up from doing google searches and piecing info together on wiki/here

sorry all, but I'm going to lock this thread, there is another thread that discussed the pro's and cons of the street racing section a while ago, and that thread was why this section got changed.

Its part of the rules, more to keep others out of trouble than anything else, but there are other reasons, and its not going to change in the near future.

The last thread like this ended in a huge fight between people, and I'd preffer it not happen again.

Plus this thread really isnt supposed to be in this section anyways, as its not really discussing a track time or dyno graph, or anything of the racing nature.
