Hey mods/bosses/ powers that be...

I havent had the internet at home for quite some time, several months now, aside from going on via my cell phones mobile web.

Although its not the most desireable route, it does the trick okay.

For the longest time I couldnt even get into the club-s12 forums, as the main page itself is to heavy.

Then during a recent need for a nissan fix, I started searching for s12 stuff, and naturaly it pointed quite often to club s12.

With the mobile web, Google searches quite often reduces/simplifies/formats the pages to make em lighter/simplified and easy to view. Through this I managed to get into the club s12 forum in the Lo-Fi version. The down side is you cant log in in under the lo-fi version, or at least not through the cell anyways.

I could only cruise around and read the threads, which sufficed ..for awhile... lol

Then after a bit of playing around, I managed to find I could sneak into the login page under normal version and log in... but then the pages turned too heavy once again, and I couldnt get back to lo-fi... lol

changing all the settings to minimul didnt realy help either...

So now i could log in, but not realy read or travel the forums, and still couldnt post...

Most of the other forums and such I goto I can log in and read and post.

Anyways the point is, Im here to beg the powers of the club-s12 forum to make it possible to log in, and read and post via cell phones/mobile web kinda thing.

It would also be good for those that are on the road and such, and like to take the forums with them on the go. Be handy for meets and such like that too... Hmm.. what other selling points can I think up... ? lol

I dont think it would take much to make it possible, maybe a formatting option kinda thing for viewing and such, if willing, however I could be wrong as I dont know the inner workings of a board lol.

anyways. thanks for taking the time to read, and hope you consider or at least check into it!

~L~

Try Opera Mobile. It's faster than the standard browser your phone comes with and you get an overview + lot of other stuff. It works great for me

I also use Opera and I can do everything including see popups for PM's, even admin tools.

The "simple" version you are using is actually the "printable" mode, not designed to be used actively, just passivley. There is nothing I can do to let you post in that mode, as that is how Invision software works.

Opera works amazing on my berry for this site. Sure it's a little bit of a pain to navigate and post (Scrolling down a good 10 times to click add reply), but it works great, and is available for nearly every phone. My sony erricsson had it and it worked quite well.

I have Opera Mobile on my PPC, but I also used it on my Motorola SLVR... Opera Mini.

Correction: I use opera mini. That's the free one and they just released a new one with some impressive tabs and such. It still has a few flaws since its beta though

Ya unless you have a "smart" phone Canada sucks. I made the switch from old fashioned cell to a smart phone (Blackberry Pearl 2) last year and I'm never going back.
