Dr30 Build Teaser Pics & Info

hey, i've been toiling in secret since it's warmed up here and begun istallign soem of the stuff i've collected over winter heres a few shots to show you some of what's happened.

D-sport S12why is everyone in the US getting quoted retardedly high prices for JDM cars

yeah, to get exactly what you want you will spend alot, but 14k is quite high, that would be one really nice example.

anyways thanks for the comments, and LOL that fram filter is just to keep dust out, oil in while it's sittign there, it's not the one i'm runnign on the engine lol.

I'm just about ready to assemble, but still need to sort out my steerign rack conversion still a few details left, liek the steerign column. once that's doen i can put the car back on the ground and repaint the bay, then jsut drop it all in there. got a cool new ARC intercooler from work for it too, very few parts left to buy.plenty of fab tho heh.

also i had two turbo kits i chose to use the one with an external wastegate so i could finally have a daily with a screamer pipe heh, also now i have a spare n/a fj and a spare turbo kit, so if any of you guys have a 620 pickup let me know i need somthign to put that one in

I'm a big fan of the DR30, too.

BUT... this kinda thread is more of a build thread, and the "FJ20E/ET Tech" section is where to ask questions or discuss technical topics on the FJ. Not to showcase a car or an engine build. That's what "Club-S12 Garage" is for, and so that is where I'm moving this thread.

Please, everyone, give thought to which sections you post what in.

moderate update, engine bay painted, s13 tein he coilovers in, s13 hubs/controlarms in, q45 brakes back in, s14 xmember/rack conversion complete. s14 sway bar installed, ae86 t3 t/c rods installed

It runs like a bag right now, as the stock FJET Injectors that came with the new intake are fucked, once the new rail and injectors go in it should be right as rain.

Anyway, it' nearly together, got the engien and new C trans in and mounted, harness finished, ARC inter cooler mounted, Hid in, frotn end finally back on, drive shaft in, new coilovers in, revised s13 front enversion with rack conversion, jdm R33 Brake booster, R33 GTR Fuse & relay box used for battery relocation and the new EFI System and any other new electrical addons.

hehe tbh i don't even know what throttle it is, i just had it around.  maybe its a 98 ka, all i know is its a 60mm so thats all i needed, i had both an SR and RB20 one i was gonna use also, but this one was easier to modify, i cut the throttle body heater section right off.

prolly should have updated this a while ago, it's tuned and running/driving.  will go on the dyno soon as it's insured.

This project is far from dead i'm just not online much these days,

Car is finally tuned on the new 850cc injectors, custom rail lines & regulator, Arc bov installed,  trust oil cooler and filter relocation. running 11 psi right now going for 25 before the car hits the road for summer.

also running full 80's "more collage" aero kit & vintage rays center lock mesh rims now.
