Hello all,
I am selling my sr20det s12 project car. It is a 1987 mkII car with power windows and power locks - and once had a ca20e in it. It is unfinished and currently in the middle of the sr20det swap. As you can see from the pictures the engine is in and is partially hooked up.
Things I have done to the car:
- original steering rack was broken so I replaced it
- put on new no-name rotors and pads on all 4's
- replaced the old broken mkII grill and marker lights with a mkI grill and marker lights
- stripped the rear end for weight reduction
- tinted the rear side windows and rear hatch window with limo tint
- removed the rear window wiper assembly for weight reduction
- removed the broken-ass door panels and was lookin to get replacements
- dropped in an sr20det as next step in making a sweet drift/auto-x car
Things the car will need to get on the road:
- needs to have self-routed powersteering lines or a powersteering pump added as there wasn't one included with the purchase of the sr20det
- needs custom one piece driveshaft made and installed
- needs intercooler and the piping to fit the s12
- needs exhaust done from downpipe all the way back
- needs replacement for passenger-rear brake assembly as current one was siezed
- needs the swap finished (obviously) which includes wiring and a few odds and ends
Things that will come with the car:
- the cd player that came with it will stay with it
- the carbonfiber aftermarket shiftknob stays
- the spare tire can go with
- the stock sr20det intercooler will go with
- all the misc hoses and wires that may or may not fit can go with for finishing the swap purposes
- an extra set of rims and rubber on them will be going with
- the battery (not shown in pics) will be going with
Things I have that could go with the car for negotiable extra cost:
- have new/never-used Canuck lowering springs
- have new/never-used "fart can" muffler
- still have the rear seats and could be put back pretty easily
I did a little drifting and tire burning before the swap haha.

Same goes for the drivers rear tire.

Drivers front is decent though.

A bit of an aerial view - nice looking car.
I am asking $2600.00 CAD o.b.o. for the car as is. The car cost me $1000 and the sr20det cost me $1500. I think asking $2600 isn't too unreasonable considering the few things I have done to it as well as having dropped in the engine and done partial hook up to it. It's a good starting point for someone who doesn't have a garage as it's almost summer and the rest of the work could be done in the driveway.
If you were to take this car off my hands you would need a way to transport it. The car is located in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.
P.M. if you are interested.
