Just saw this s12 on another thread at NWN from the NWR SCCA Drift Event yesterday. Pretty rare to see s12's at drift events up here let alone actually have someone snap a picture of one in action and post it online. I don't think he is a member here but just thought I would post the pic for fun and see if anyone recognized the car.

He and Randy talked and he knows of the S12 sites and such.  Not sure if he was a member but he does have Randy's contact info.

Saw this car when it was for sale. No idea who nabbed it. It was in Los Angeles last time I knew.

Never knew "SCCA" and "drift" would go hand in hand lol

Also forgot just how small our cars are until I saw this picture with his helmet lol

That threw me off too, SCCA seems too proper for a of psychos whipping around the track.  WOOHOOO!

ok. sorry. flashbacks from formula drift coming back

a group of people up here convince ssca to help put on drift events...its a good fit up here because a lot of the younger crowd are obviously into drifting while there is still a big group of older people who autox. I think drifting will grow up here then grassroots while autox will most likely start to slide off some...they will most likely become even...meaning for every autox event there will be a drift event. Although finding suitable locations is always a problem...and is even more difficult for drifting then it is for autox. I am pretty sure they use the same lot in bremerton for their drift events that they do for their autox...but i have never gone all the way up for either. I have heard that like 80 people show up for autox and they dont get any fun runs in...i rather stay at home and get more seat time...hah.

No, anyone over 6 feet tall will attest to how small our cars are when you are wearing a helmet.

Looks like he's got a good amount of speed, needs more smoke!
