Back From A 4 Something Year Hiatus!

Lower right corner was the first white s12.  Nothing fancy other than being the most reliable car I've ever owned til ex-hubby with a fire addiction put it to death.  Long story short he became mad because it outlasted every POS he ever owned and we were undergoing a divorce, only way he could REALLY hurt my feelings was to destroy *that* car. The kids even loved the car too . Buy a family car? HA!    


I hadn't done a thing to the *new* car yet, no wash anything yet (too fraking hot outside!) til I get the entire fuel pump assembly sent to me; which I will do tomorrow. Later comes the paint job, removal of those 'fuzzy seat covers' and a thorough vacuuming. Hadn't tested the factory radio, but I am pretty sure I am removing it. Has original floor mats which other than the upper door panel are the ONLY things with any tears.  The car sat with a cover over it.


Below is a picture of the V-6 S12 along with the Turbo S12 I had. The black car (V-6) was stolen back in '06. Other than needing a fresh coat of paint, NOTHING was wrong with the car. Maxima powered (IT IS POSSIBLE), thanks to the local repair shop, they MADE it work- had hell putting oil in it though. In the background is the turbo s12, it needed a engine.  The other black S12 (not seen) was to be a parts car but ran too nice to tear down, though it was dented to hell with a bashed in nose.

Nah, never took a pic of the car *on* fire, I was crying my eyeballs out while it happened. I look back at it now and laugh though. I did take a aftermath picture but can't find it. I do remember posting here ages ago however...

are those wheels, or actual hubcaps? either way, they are AWESOME!

This is a BASE model, never had a base model s12 before.
Less electrical gizmos mean less problems I suppose yes
The factory paper speakers are still in this thing!

i love base model s12s...less gizmos = less weight = less things to go wrong = quicker accelerating and stopping s12.
