A day of drifting, and tire smoke (albeit in the wet).

Trying my best to dispose of those damn tires!

Funny, I actually blew my welded diff apart at the last drift event (My crappy 220v stick welding) - the one being used in the video is a VLSD.

That's why when I weld a diff, I weld the gears to the diff case as well, not just gear to gear. Smiley

That diff is currently at a professional welding shop having the gears welded and the gears then welded to the carrier.. This time it will not blow itself apart.. Lesson learned.

Tell me about it.. I am tired of getting tossed around the cabin.. They are my next big purchase.
