I was asked by one of your moderators here to introduce my Wide ZG Flares (or as some like to call them BAMF ZG Flares). I can also get standard ZG flares for those of you interested.
I've shipped these flares to 20+ countries all over the world, so don't be afraid to ask for International shipping. I love going global.
ZG Flares fit both Datsun s30 (70-78 Z Cars) Datsun and s130 (79-83 280zx cars), BUT I've also seen them on plenty of other cars as well! Such as Nissan 240sx, Nissan 180sx, Mazda Miata, Mazda RX7, and many more. ZG Flares are a pretty universal arch that can be applied to many applications that have relatively flat fenders, or a slight body line.
If you guys/girls have any questions, feel free to ask and I'll help the best I can.

There was always rumors of wider ZGs for years but no one ever really saw them, only a couple pics from Japan but no source at the time, I came upon some luck and got a set (only the rears were wider though) and so I also had some front flares custom widened so I could make them as a set.
The rear Wide ZGs are approx. 3-5/8" wide flat on the ground laid out, compared to the normal rear ZG version of approx. 2-1/4" flare. That's a whole 1-3/8" more width these offer! Might not seem much, but that's a lot more rim & tire to fit. And truly the way I think ZG flares should have been originally. The normal rear zg flares almost look flat and not as wide as standard front zg flares.
The front wide ZGs are approx. 3-1/4" instead of the normal 2-1/4"! So 1" wider than normal.

Standard rear ZG vs rear Super ZG…The difference is very clear!

Wide ZG Flares...
I have these. I think they are awesome. Only problem I have with them is it takes SO much to get my shit to not look super super sunk in.
Maxpow on 02:12:01 AM / 28-Sep-10I have these. I think they are awesome. Only problem I have with them is it takes SO much to get my shit to not look super super sunk in.You got them installed or did you just mock them up? I'd love to see some pics.
I installed them. You don't want to see my car lol.

Like a truck... Sad
I just cut way too much fender off to compensate for my old setup so this setup looks terrible.
Oh those are the normal zg flares... my wide zg flares are a bit wider all around (1" more in front and 1-5/8" more in back). But yes, same idea.
so...for 4 wider zg fiberglass flares shipped to washington state would be like 330? I am thinking i want to run these for the wheels/slicks i am going to be getting eventually for autox...which means i am going to need longer wheel studs and spacers for my hoshinos so they dont look sunken in....
Any tips for installing the fiberglass flares?

I can definitely help give you tips to install them and I also label the back side of each flare so you know which fender it goes on.
Are the rear fenders unibody to the car (2 sheet metal layers that come together) or single sheet metal for a few inches inside them?

Oops my bad I guess.

Yeah unibody, so we would need to do some cutting and weld the inner fender to the outer fender to do a nice job.
This is a nice site showing how to instal them on an old Z, it would be the exact same on a S12.

oh...wow...thats a lot of work...but its probably way cheaper to do it yourself than to have someone else do it...
sam31183 on 05:34:34 PM / 28-Sep-10oh...wow...thats a lot of work...but its probably way cheaper to do it yourself than to have someone else do it...It's actually not that hard to do once you do it, and not as much work as it seems. I do it every now and then for local customers who pay me to do the install for them.
sam31183 on 05:34:34 PM / 28-Sep-10oh...wow...thats a lot of work...but its probably way cheaper to do it yourself than to have someone else do it...It really isn't that bad to do. and its worth it. I wish I saw these before I got my normal zg flares =\
Ju_S12_Turbo on 11:52:42 PM / 28-Sep-10It really isn't that bad to do. and its worth it. I wish I saw these before I got my normal zg flares =\The great thing is that they bolt up in exactly the same location as the normal zg flares! So you can always sell yours and put these right in their place using the same holes.
That's good to know cause now I'm having buyers remorse as well lol.
We're all cali too. Wewt.
dont take me wrong and be sure next year i order a set from you
but
dont you think 370 bucks are a bit much for a bit fiberglass?
i saw jun (or maybe yours) replicas for 120 bucks
i dont say its not worth since i didnt tray them right now, but fuck all those parts require alot of work on install
so
right now i just want to know
why is your product the right for me?
Compared to the normal ZG flares, his prices are damn near the same.
I'd agree with you, battlefairy, if it was some cheap ebay company knockoffs, but they aren't.
