I plan on attending, hopefully if nothing comes up, Marvin (Radracer S) will be there as well. I double hope he has his Notch finished and drives it down!  You listening Marvin!  tongue2

thanks man. i got shitfaced and tried picking up girls in the s12 (it works) on hollywood blvd last night. 2am clubs let out and me and my buddy found this cute latina chick crying hysterically cuz her ride or friends ditched her after the club lmao Wink "prime target" and so we pulled over i chatted her up and convinced her to roll with me and come over my buddys apt.she gets in the car and after looking around it she was like "omg your dash is like digital" so we get to the apt. she starts second guessing herself but i politely assure her its all gonna be alright. my buddy took off after we got there (his girl picked him up giving me the alone time i needed) and me and teh chick now left alone had some drinks and did some other activities lol. then i kicked her out at like 6am (i told her to call someone to pick u up cuz im leaving) lmfao fun fuckin birthday.

gas to hollywood= $6.00
crown royal 750ml= free
random birthday latina fun = priceless

s12 pulls hoes son!

Heh, I'm going to Irwindale to interview drivers for Drifting.com. I won't be in an S12, but I can be there to cover the S12 caravan as well.

i might go. my buddy is drifting in the pro-am championship thing. depends if i feel up to drive to irwindale or not lol.

ArroOct 2, 2010, 2:45 am · #10

It's on the C-S12 Calendar now. Had to add this post to do that. Decided I might as well throw up a schedule of events, address information, the website, and a photo, since it wasn't done in the first place Tongue

It All Comes Down to the TITLE FIGHT for the Formula DRIFT Championship
The Toyota Speedway at Irwindale is known as the "House of Drift." The legendary drifting venue gave drifting in the U.S it's roots and is often referred to as the "birthplace" of American drifting.

The Formula DRIFT Championship will be decided at this final event of the season and drivers will battle one last time to earn the coveted title of Formula DRIFT champion. The track is the home track for most of the drivers and each year the competition grows more intense. The infamous course is challenging and exciting utilizing part of the short oval track and many inside turns.

Last year current champion Chris Forsberg took home both the championship and Tires.com Triple Crown bonus award at this event, but it was a close call as Ryan Tuerck took the event victory and came in second place overall by a mere 6 points. Tyler McQuarrie came in second at the event and secured his third place finish for the season. This year, watch as the drivers go all out and put it all on the line one last time for a chance to become the new Formula DRIFT champion.

Colin, you can continue your discussions about your Wed plans in a separate thread from Saturday's Final Battle. I have moved the posts to that thread as is appropriate.

Oh sweet.  Yeah, cannot really hide the car amongst all the others on the freeway.  Sorry, didnt notice you.  I had a long drive ahead and was just focusing on staying behind the trailer and being able to merge to the left lane so that the truck/trailer had room to pass whomever they needed.

After we got to the shop, it didnt take much more than a couple of hours to unpack much of the trailer and talk with Doug (owner of the shop).  We already threw out some ideas for next year and are so prepped to finish that second run.
MaxpowOct 12, 2010, 9:31 pm · #20

Yeah for sure, you were going decently fast at that moment and we were flying. Probably touched 115 with the new SE like 4 or 5 times out in the boonies.

There was a pack of like 4 people, (2 s12's), just flying, 3 of us had radar detectors so it was fairly safe. I was still scared as fuck but in a race against time to make it to my own birthday party lol.

I took some good photos of the event, both on and off track. When I get a chance I'll pull them from the camera chip and post 'em. Good to see you San Diego guys made it out Thumbs Up!
