So I got my car running but when I take it out on test drives she bogs like the timing wont advance? Oh and I need help with air fuel mixtures! This car has been a pain for me for almost two months now and not having a drivable car is starting to get to me reallysad!

your question doesnt even make that much sense. seems like the timing doesnt advanced? have you even put a timing light on it? thats where i would start. is the rest of the ignition system in working order? fuel pressure where it should be? vacuum leaks?
and your asking for the timing procedure? for cam or ignition timing? ignition timing just hook a light up ,set it too like 15 to 20 bTDC. if you dont have a light advance it until it pings and then back it off a hair. thats what i do.
whats wrong with your air/fuel mixture? you have a a/f gauge? what are you running at? too lean? too rich?

The problem is that those procedure are already all over a lot of tech threads and build threads... the goal here is not to have 10,000 post about the same things... so if the thing you are searching for as never been answered before... hence the use of the search button first... then, we will be all over here to help you out.... but those procedure are in the FSM which is already alinked all over the place here... If you wan't us to help you, begin by helping yourself out.... as jordan suggested, start a build thread, and as you go, if you have problems with things, we'll help you out along the way, but your thread will not be useless like the one I'm posting here right now, look at david b build thread, there are over 85 pages of it and most things are repeted things, some things are new, but over all it's a "build" thread which shows the progress of one car, so asking some tech in there is good and doesn't create a bunch of useless thread that takes bandwith... that is all...
