Although new units have been virtually unavailable for some time, the highest flowing oil pump for many VG powered vehicles has been the oil pump originally installed in the engines of 1984-1989 Nissan Z31 300ZX Turbos with the automatic transmission option.

We were able to locate and acquire a limited supply of brand new "Auto/Turbo" pumps that were manufactured by Atsugi, an OE parts supplier for Nissan. These pumps are clearly marked Atsugi with the Nissan hamburger logo, and match the markings of original core oil pumps removed from engines during disassembly. These pumps should be fully interchangable with S12 SE-V6s as well as 1990-92 Infiniti M30's.

Purchasing these same pumps from a Nissan dealership (if you can find them!) can run into the hundreds of dollars. Our efforts resulted in finding a cache of OE style pumps to offer to enthusiasts for a significant savings.

If you plan on doing any type of moderate to high performance VG engine build, making an improvement to the oiling system in your newly machined motor is not only added insurance and piece-of-mind, but also a performance enhancement by itself. The internal gearing of these Atsugi "Auto/Turbo" pumps has been documented as being much larger than oil pumps found in NA cars and Turbo 5-speed cars, and are able to outflow them. More oil flow means more protection for your internals and valvetrain.

We have also partnered with the staff of EP Racing to offer ported versions of these pumps to our customers. EP Racing is a world-reknown company focused on Nissan performance, and has had significant hands-on experience dealing with these particular pumps. They are able to port out the internal passages to significantly increase flow efficiency by removing restrictions.

Choose the option for this, and we will ship your pump directly to EP Racing, where your pump will be modified and then shipped directly to your doorstep!

These brand new pumps start at 139.95, shipped anywhere in the continental United States.
The optional porting package from EP Racing is an additional 139.95, and includes all shipping costs.

These are moving extremely quick guys. Those of you with VG's probably should snag one of these while they are still available.

If you scroll through the build thread forum here, you'll note that the guys looking to make power with their VG30 have a auto/turbo Z31 oil pump.

ALL GONE!

Well guys - I was able to retrieve a small quantity of these again. Looks like I might have all the Auto/Turbo pumps left in the states this time. LOL

Price has changed somewhat due to the extreme cost of getting these in stock, but porting is still available as an option!

Thanks!
Zack

Hey guys -

Had some great response on these. I only have a couple of these pumps left, so if you're looking to improve the oiling system on your VG30, don't miss out!

Thanks!
Zack

Any hope of more shipments in the future?

acadianasportscarsSep 6, 2011, 8:07 pm · #8

If I can get them in the future, I will. However, I went through 2 separate companies to get the pumps I have now. I've not had luck finding another one.

All gone :(

These are new... is there any market for the used ones? Does the refurbishes need cores? I mean these are literally covering my grounds.

You gotta get me working on some kind of core gathering mission. Its like a roll playing game, gotta get all the (x), (y), and (z's) before I can turn them in for an epic quest reward.

Damn that was lame.

The guy who ports them might be interested in them. I think he might rebuild and resell used ported pumps. PM me for details.

Found 3 more new pumps! They all gone now though. :(
