It has so little tirespin....
My KA can't hook up like that. Suspension too stiff.

ive always liked the sound of single slammers over than dual cam KAs for some reason as well.
sounds..... manlier.

Agreed, thought it could just be different exhausts, but they do sound different.  It sounds less smooth, and a little deeper (what ALL yo mamma's said)

Are these quotes contradicting?  How SHOULD the suspension look and function during acceleration from a dig like that?
sideways_s12Dec 1, 2011, 7:42 pm · #10

it has alot of squat and in most cases you don't want that much squat

but yeah if you stiffen the suspension you will get a lot more tire spin then you have to start playing with tires but it all depends on what your using your car for....
silvia loveDec 1, 2011, 8:59 pm · #11

our irs will always squat when grip is there.

my suspension setup in the rear are cut canuck ssc's with foxbody mustang shocks. i dont remember the rates on those but id like a min of 550 for the rear. my fronts are sectioned with mr2 inserts and 350lb springs. also running on new tires.

a stock ka24e shouldnt break loose the tires haha i want more power

my exhaust is to loud, sounds good but just annoying.

im gonna have to get some 60fps footage soon, this was shot at just 720p hd

sam31183Dec 1, 2011, 9:51 pm · #12

550s in the back our ideal...i need to take similar footage so we can compare though. Canucks were way too soft on my steelies and slicks...

well that makes a big difference on that surface. did you hit 60mph and then let off. i ran a stopwatch and came up with about 5.8 seconds which is respectable for your drive train i think and that is about the same for the video clock

Me too, hooks up real nice but I have a shagged (CA18ET) stock exhaust and it sounds terribile lol.
