Registration is NOW OPEN until August 25th or until all slots are spoken for!

8th Annual Japanese Classic Car Show
Date: Sep.15th, Saturday 2012
Time:9 to 3pm
Event Address: Queen Mary Events Park
1126 Queens Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90802
Admission $8 Adult, Kids under 12 FREE with paid adult
Queen Mary Parking rate $0 to $12

Registration limitations:

All Pre-85 Japanese cars are eligible including later years for models that were first built in 1985.
Recent additions:

Mazda RX-7 Second gen. FC models
S4 (1986 - 1988) to S5(1989 - 1991)

Honda CR-X Second gen.
1987 to 1991

Dude, you'd be cool, it says cars originally built 1985 or earlier. So the S12 chassis is all included, even 86 & 87.

Its not the funds, ever since she overheated and blew the radiator cap off and sprayed coolant all over the front end, it ate through the paint and it has permanent pink watermarks aaaaalllll over the fenders and hood and looks horrible, thats the only reason i dont want to enter her in the show this time

Go to Oreilly or something and spay can some red and clear. Takes less than a day if its sunny out. I did it with the super white and it's fine. Not like it could get more pink. lol

ah yes but alas i would never be able to afford to drive it from here in illinois to long beach

just calculated it out itd take just over a day to get there around 2000mi and round trip gas would be around $640

What are you talking about? They proved it works super well. You just have to be ridiculously close for big improvement, it also depends on the size of your engine, aerodynamics of your car, and the way your gear box is setup. They used a big ass truck if I remember correctly.

Hey Hey! Sorry, been out for a while...but I'm registered and will be attending. Colonel Gustard, get her there with J's help and I'll bring the spray we used last year bro. Get her to a blinding shine! Is anyone meeting up to roll out that morning? We had a great line up last year and spot, hope we get as many as we did last year lined up.

Shes gonna be up there, just not in the show this year. Overheated a while back and the coolant ate though the paint on the fenders and hood :/

Boi was planing to go this year for sure but shit got all fucked up at my job with people getting fired and my second job put me on call so there goes the money for gas and car rental to get there.... What the fuck I just can't win everytime I try to plan a trip for Cali something fucks it up...

I'm registered but will be towing the car to the parking lot and driving in lol....couldn't get a "SMOG" in time lol...looks like my will be painted the day before the show.

Except... you never showed! :( I didn't think I would be able to get my car there but I was able to, they had a slot for you right next to my RS-X. It would have been sweet to have our two FJ powered cars side-by-side.

I took 2nd place, the guy with the tricked out blue S110 won 1st. He's shown up every year with a bit more done to his car... paint and wheels two years ago, then dressed up engine bay last year, and this year he had a full custom sound system done in the hatch area. He's a good guy, and deserved the first place win. I'll post more pictures this week, I have lots between what I shot with my phone and what Greg shot with his nifty high-powered camera.

I know man the body couldn't finish. It was so close but they haven't even primered it so I didn't want it there looking all crappy. Seeing that empty spot next to your car ruined my day lol!!
