so iv added about 20 minutes to my drive time for $10/h and after 90 days it goes to $11/h. i now work at continental tire in the curing station for truck tires. what i do is kinda like sand blasting only i use dry ice and nitrogen to clean the molds. im technically through a temp agency right now  but wen i get hired on it goes to $16/h sooo...woot

Sounds alot safer than the coal mine! Good luck; should be managing the place in no time.

I sense a future disturbance in the S-12 mods force...

Eh, 380's nothing. I reach into my oven when it's hotter. Any kind of safety gear at all'll keep you safe. Just wear leather gloves and goggles as prescribed.

More income=more outgo. When you start getting more $$ in your hand, more thoughts of S-12 mods come to mind. Of course it happens without $$ too, just amounts to less action.

What Cajun said. I went from $0 income to suddenly having $4500. I immediately bought a Jeep tire and a Pathfinder. I've been putting money into both since and steadily draining my cash. That said, better to have money to blow than to blow money you don't have.

have mods on a list but not in line to do. im only gonna be working on it drivability only for a while. gotta do a full tune up and my front struts still and now with the need for a windshield, mods are nowhere near the front of the line. only one i might do soon is just upgrading the coil or if i find super cheap wheels

Cajun1guyAug 25, 2012, 7:23 pm · #9

There you go. Keep it within the budget, keep it drivable. It eventually gets better! Good luck with the new job, hope it will lead to better things for you.

thanks man

SchizophrenicMCAug 25, 2012, 9:02 pm · #11

Always focus on getting it running as well as you can before you start screwing with mods. That way you know everything works and you can at least use it. Then when you start to modify, you know exactly what you're getting into.

SchizophrenicMCAug 25, 2012, 10:42 pm · #15

I'd skip getting the tranny working and just do the swap, yeah. Solid plan.
