1987 200sx SEV6 sale, running, zero rust (from atlanta), in Mich. $2k
5spd, very faded red paint, straight minus a few nicks and one palm-sized shallow dent, zero rust (seen no winters, stored indoors), has Black 15" Enkei 92's ("meshies"), ka24e throttle body swap, I think I swapped maf and computer to 300zx too. Runs fine, but has been stored here then there the last 8 years. I built the engine in it forever ago (I'm a certified automotive and aircraft 'A&P' mechanic), never had a problem. Also have spare parts and things. Interior is really nice, minus the top pads on the paneling (all but the pass. side, which I think I bought new), and the dash is cracked, but I have a new black dash for it (have to find it). The white spots on everything wipe off, car will be cleaned before sale. I also think I have 2 perfect package trays.
Here's the interesting part; I bought an entire Q45, stripped everything out of it (entire harness uncut, all computers still attached, wrapped in layers of garbage bags, in dry storage), bought a good running motor that had been in a fire. So, a whole vh45de swap minus the adapter plate (I can set you up).
I can make the car all good to go (minus potential flat-spots on the tires from sitting, the rears were almost new when it went into storage), but the price goes up. Currently it needs a caliper (seized), a battery, and a good looking
-over where I'd fix (and pay for parts) any other problems that may have developed whilst sitting(lines, pads, rotors, oil change, fluids check and fill). "Good to go" I feel it will take you across the country, no problems (minus tire spots).
I'm located in Kalamazoo, Mi
I don't want to sell this car at all, I've been planning on "getting around " to this swap for forever, now I got bills and too many cars.
Haven't felt like driving it last last forever because A: the faded paint looks bad, B: I didn't want to take the chance of hurting it more before I got a chance to go through the body, C: doing the paint and body BEFORE a major engine swap is a bad idea.
It's also wired for 3 amps (three sets of rca's), has a fuse/distribution block. I'd like to take it all out when I clean it (I'll leave it all for $50), all negotiable.
$2000, as is
$2600 good to go
$1200 for the motors separate
$2800 as is with motors
$3500 with motors, and the car good to go
I work at a body shop (now just a 2nd job), and have done swaps to things of all kinds, if you got the money I can make the car perfect (paint, trim and everything. Can even put in a full stereo) and swap the engine too, I'll do whatever you want, but bring your pocketbook, and I'll have it ready for spring.
All prices/combinations negotiable, without insults.
I also have a Cosworth vega, and a 5 spd. f-350 centurion (diesel, turbo, intercooled), and a lot of high end old-school car audio for sale too (here's just some, http://s151.photobucket.com/albums/s143/sishinthin/Hafler/#!cpZZ1QQtppZZ16 ). Let's haggle, but hurry, gotta sell it all quick.
Here's pictures, tell me what you want pics of, I'll post them. I plan on adding a motor running video.

[MI] 1987 200sx SEV6 sale, running, zero rust (from atlanta) $2k
Really!? Nobody from the s12 site wants a rust-free v6se 5spd in michigan?
You have the traffic into this thread. But, obviously, something is pushing them off. It's more than likely the $2k for a car that needs a fair bit of work and looks ugly part.
No offense, but that's a $500-$1k car as it sits.
Paint is faded, interior panels are looking a little moldy, tires are flat and who really knows for how long so they more than likely need to be replaced.
But Jay is right, the thread has plenty of views!
The money your asking is for a CHERRY 12. This car might fetch 500 funtickets at best.
your pics arnt showing up
i payed 500 for mine and its in better shape
I'm not gonna lie, I paid 2100 for my s12. It's all in presentation. It was very clean, garaged kept, and had every document and paperwork of any work that was done to the car. About 20 years of paperwork. I didn't know jack about the s12, it's stats, or value. I just saw a nice looking car that appealed to me.
I'm sure you could sell it to some noob like me if you had it presented nicely. Like the work already done and cleaned.
Btw I'm diggin the Nissan decal on the car.. Is that stock?

Looks like dealer pinstriping. it looks like it might say "shadow" under the rub strip beneath where it says Nissan.
Again tactics, yours was likely cherry at the time. This car needs work!
Yes, those are dealer added decals. Came from Yonkers Nissan in Washington state. It does say shadow, the graphics are half of why I bought it (was going to have the graphics airbrushed on when I got it painted).
If I can't get $1.5k for it I'll just keep it. Time's on my side, the supply of rwd rust-free Nissan's is dwindling more every day as they get turned into whomevers' newest dream creation. I was offering these prices as a jump-off point for haggling. $2600 for a rust-free, semi-fast, very reliable vehicle with potential in Michigan is a solid deal.
I posted a bunch of stuff, on a bunch of forums for sale as I got into a boo-boo and had to pay fees. Other things are selling, I didn't really want to sell this car, so fuck it. I'm going to go a head and fix the few problems so I can drive it come spring (and pull it in and out of the garage as needed). If someone's still interested, I'll likely still sell it.
I'd keep it. Somebody's just gonna swap a SR or KA in I anyway.
Swapping a 4cyl into an SE in a project. You have to source a 4 cyl crossmember or it just won't work.
I was planning on swapping in the vh45de, maybe I still will. This was like my favorite car, but I got a 5-spd AWD Axxess, and I think it's way more low key, and far more capable of a platform. You can't buy another factory stickshift AWD Nissan in the states that's not specially imported (well.. there's the shittier stanza van with no structural rigidity, or a 4wd sentra wagon, but that's about it).
Well, I think as a whole package, your price is pretty reasonable. Stick to your guns, dont let these cheap skates talk you down.
Wish I had the time and money to take it off your hands lol.
Would u trade for a 1990 pathfinder
If it had a sunroof we would be talking. GLWS.
Also, I've found that it's very hard to get interior parts for these cars.
