hey guys I have been looking to get a radar detector for the s12 let me make it clear that its legal in the state of new york. Ive been looking at two models of detectors
first is the Valentine V1

i would like to know if anyone uses detectors what you use how do you like it also what should i get valentine or cobra

I can't remember the name of the one I wanted but it was $2000 lol radar/laser detector and jammer. Outlawed in 30 states lol

I've had a V1 for 5 or 6 years and love it. The connectors have worn out and need replacing, but the cables are fairly cheap. Other than that it's been problem free, and I do use it everyday. IMHO, the directional arrows and bogey counter are why, for the price, the Valentine is my pick.

the v1 seems like the best their is i never knew its been out for sale for that long ive seen 8 year old units going for 200 bucks or more i might just buy a new one from valentine ity seems like its worth it
