Hmm, I've seen a few people on here asking around for window visors. I however would be VERY interested in a roof spoiler for the hatchback if there's any way you could make one. I don't know if there were ever any made for the S12. I'd like to see some renderings or a prototype of it first though. Pricewise, maybe $200 max?

I definitely want one. My buddy and I tried to fab the same thing on his celica. The supra wings go through the glass but mounting a wing to the hatch of an s12 should be easy. Now cardboard and duct tape sounds like great material for the wing itself.

Looks awesome man, the only thing I'll say is: try and make sure it stays true to the s12's shape, boxy and defined edges, minimal curves, and just have it angled upwards a little bit more.

It looks awesome but I think on an s12 it would look better with less curve of the hatch or completely flat.

This reminds me of the RA65 Celica Supra spoiler, only more subtle...
side note, in an image search for RA65 spoiler, my S12 came up twice in a row on the second page :P Followed by Keith's copper S12 hatch.

Not at all. It makes it different than just copying the RA65 version. I like the idea, and in fact I'd consider sporting one on my two-tone S12.

I too would be very interest in both door visors and a spoiler for the hatch. I'm also thinking about trying to mock up a spoiler that goes over the original spoiler.

I'm curious at how a duck tail wing will look on a coupe. I think it is possible to make it look good... and also possible to make it look hideous lol.
Just an idea if you want to try some shapes on your car without damaging it. Buy a tube of insulating foam, lay a piece of cloth or something to protect your trunk and spray the foam on it, then cut/sand it into shape. It will give a better idea of what it will looks like.

for a roof spoiler (duckbill i guess,)
something simple like this for an s13 but it would have to follow the shape on an s12, maybe an 1-2inches farther back depending on style. for me atleast

The supra roof spoiler looks neat. Would it simply be a plastic piece or are you considering any other material? A dark filmed "glass-like" visor/ duckbill would look nice imo for the hatch... Keep us updated!

i personally think the original spoiler is the best one for the s12, but there is also the thought of a duckbill moulded onto it, which sounds interesting. i really just want a roof spoiler for the hatch and the visors. (all i need is a name and and address of who im supposed to kill for those visors in above pic) lol

theyre pricey though, like 300 bucks i think. worth it but also a lot to put out for an aesthetic part.
