I need the stock oem factory shift lever. Previous owner shortened this one poorly. With or without the knob as long as the threads are good. Price with shipping to South Bend IN 46614. Thanks Mike

i think since you have the newer transmission you can use the 240sx lever.

Yeah you can find them on ebay I ran one in my red hatch...

Tried that route already with a short throw shifter from ebay. The plate bolt holes have one diffrent hole drilled on the left where the 17mm bolt pushes down on the shifter detent spring. I thought I could modify that to work because the other 5 bolt holes line up but you can not get all of the gears. It seems like the shift lever drops in too far to the rear. The paper work application says it fits 89-98 240sx, 88-99 200SX non-us, 84-89 300ZX non turbo,Silvia S13 ,Skyline r31 r32 r33. Wont work on mine :no:

Odd mine had the exact 4 bolt plate as stock and it bolted up fine....

Did the one you bought on ebay work for this Shifter setup? Do those bolt brackets slip into that slot and just bolt them down? If so Maybe I will just sell this one and buy that type :yes:

yeah you have a c trans and so do I and it worked fine but be careful of the plastic bushing that goes on the end of the shifter the end that goes into the trans becuse mine broke and I had to buy the oem one from nissan. It was only $1.xx but still I shouldn't have had to buy it lol...
