Well picked up this little turd for relatively cheap and it will now be my daily driver. It actually runs amazing besides a high idle which i will look into(probably a vaccum leak)
I dont know what my plans are but for right now first i will be doing all suspension stuff and wheels and tires. This thing is the worst ride ive ever felt.

May cut a coil off in the front and rear....not low enough for me
sideways_s12Jul 3, 2016, 11:08 pm · #6

Nice! Looks like you got some toe in the front or maybe it's just the angle of the pic. I need an se in my life So I can officially say I've owned ever model and variation of the s12.

turbo-s12Jul 4, 2016, 12:16 am · #7

Oh ya toe in like crazy my friend decided to not count turns on his side lol im aligning it when i get to work on tuesday.
SE was the last one i needed to be able to say that hahaha:p

Nice!

weitrhinoJul 20, 2016, 7:09 am · #18

Yes, and nice budget. You've acquired quite a bit in a relatively short period of time.

turbo-s12Jul 20, 2016, 12:17 pm · #19

Thanks!
New rack has arrived and installed, it isnt leaking.......yet
Im going to rebuild the last one as a back up since the reman units are such garbage.
I want to get the wheels powder coated and polish the lips but i cant decide on a color so they may stay silver for a while.

sideways_s12Jul 20, 2016, 3:20 pm · #20

Progress is looking good...

turbo-s12Jul 21, 2016, 2:44 pm · #21

Not as much progress as id like still having a hard time finding a driveline for the 5 speed swap.
Talked to david at experemental engineering if everything works out this build is going to turn out pretty neat.
Wont really be my daily if it does.
Btw im glad we have a guy like him in the s12 community that makes awesome custom parts for us

rednucleusJul 21, 2016, 10:16 pm · #22

When all is perfect you need to stop by the clinic and take me for a little ride - please!!

turbo-s12Jul 22, 2016, 4:57 pm · #23

Oh of course man! I dont know that itll ever be perfect though haha

Nothing too exciting
rednucleusSep 16, 2016, 11:08 pm · #25

Really like those wheels - please bring them over to my house if you tire of them!!

turbo-s12Sep 16, 2016, 11:50 pm · #26

Unfortunaly they are 5 lug so they wont fit on your s12:p

turbo-s12Oct 26, 2016, 8:28 pm · #27

Well haven't done much but did buy some LED's and put them in, they are great!

Picked up a spare rebuilt VG for plans later on but we'll see when that happens:)

sideways_s12Jul 2, 2017, 2:03 am · #28

Any updates on this build?

VirbiusSep 8, 2017, 2:07 am · #29

Hey just curious, are the LED's car specific or did you just get some universal ones?

NebuchernezzerSep 8, 2017, 5:03 am · #30

They will be h4s. Main thing to look out for fitting wise is that you have enough room for the heatsinks with your headlights.
I don't have leds in my s12 but i just put a set in my fazer and they are pretty great :).
