Mine decided to split, so I need a decent condition one. Shipping will be preferred to 19154 (Philly, PA). Let me know.

Hey, mine too! Filled up and saw a nice stream running down the mud flap the next morning.

Leak bros!

Strangely enough, mine decided to bust open sitting out front of my apartment. One of the neighbors knocked on my door and said that my car was leaking gas. I was just glad that it wasn't the actual tank.

I too am a leak bro.  Mine leaks when I top off the tank.  Once I drive for a few miles, no more leak.  I was thinking of replacing with a flex hose since that item is very difficult to find.

I think I'm going to rig something up, since radiator hose won't last long. I wish I knew of a newer car with a large enough rubber fuel/emission hose....

Make sure to document your rig now that we're approaching class action numbers.

Will do.

Before that hose actually started leaking, did any of you guys ever notice a high-pitched whine after shutting down? Like pressure escaping. Sometimes I do and I can relieve the pressure by loosening the gas cap so I wonder if there's a pinhole in the hose.

Nope, no whine for me, but I deleted all my evap and put a one-way check valve on the vent line near the starter. Maybe your vent valve is sticking.

No high pitch whine noise from me.  Just a small stream of gas leaking when I top it off.

I didn't know this part was a problem.

I ended up getting one from another S12. Gates makes flexible fuel hoses in different diameters, just need to know the diameter of the stock hose.
