So a buddy and I have found a way to retain your original speedometer using an S13 transmission and vehicle speed sensor. From what i have found you would normally have to pay hundreds of dollars by purchasing different modules and speedo cables from aftermarket suppliers. We have found a way to make it way less pricey and much more simplified with a circuit board we have designed that would be smaller than the size of your hand. The circuit board has 5 wires off of it. 2 for the VSS, and the other 3 are REF voltage, ground, and signal out which are conveniently at your original speed sensor's 3 wire connector.

There is a link to a diagram and a video explaining what is going on. If you have any questions or want more explanation let me know.

Im putting this out there to see if any of the KA swapped guys are interested in purchasing any of these modules. If so i will start putting them into production.

Thanks

I'm interested in a little more info or a demonstration/installation guide.

Yeah no problem. I drew up a diagram. I havent a clue on how to post a picture of it to this site so guess i will work on figuring that out today.

****Update. I posted a picture. Will get a video going later.

You cannot post pictures directly to this forum. Host the pictures at another site, like Imgur, and link them here.

I'm SR swapped but I believe the transmissions are the same so I'm interested.

How much would one cost?

Yes as long as you have an AC generator style speed sensor then this can work.
Im going to go to my buddy's place here soon to get the board soldered together and talk to him to see what we should sell it for.
I will update as soon as possible.
