Speedo cable compatibility?

My se v6 doesn't have a speedo cable for some reason and so I am currently searching for one. Question is, are speedo cables from other s12 models compatible with the se v6? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am just not sure, especially with the diffrent tranny variation's between models.

Thanks

Found oneon rock auto looks like it's generic you cut to length and crimp fittings; looks like alot of potential options on ebay too
