BARTCO 3" Exhaust System progress
This thread was saved without dates. "Around Jun 2004" is estimated from neighbouring threads.
Bart, ya know you can buy manderel ben pipe sections. That may help the flow of the exhaust. I dont know about 3" pieces but I've seen pre-bent pipe sections. It would also save you loads of work!
ya i know mandral is avaiable but it will only flow a hair more then the way i did it... and ya it was extra work but i saved some cash and i like welding anyway
Does eliminating the cat even on the stock turbs :evillaug: help a great deal?
oh hell yes my car used to die at about 5k and when i got my test pipe in on my old 2.5inch exhaust it pulled hard all the way to redline..6400
thats cool thanks!
ya i loved the result.. the 3inch exhaust is a larger increase as well

turbo or NA. YOU WILL SEE GAINS from taking out your cat. just watch out for that stupid emissions testing. I just took out the convertor of my lumina (cause it was shot, and does not need it) and i have to say i was suprised. the SE is still faster...ok, back to topic
