So the game was over and I needed to get home before the rioting started. I come up to a light. I am in the far right lane, there is a 96 ish corolla beside me, and an early 90's accord beside him ( It was 3 lanes). There is also a Black Del slow behind me that has been trying to pass me for the last 3 lites. The light ahead turns green and the traffic ahead is gone completly. My light turns green and I can see the light ahead has the "NO WALK" sign blinking. This tells me I need to get through there before it goes red. For added danger there is a red light camera at that intersection that I see flash EVERY time there is a red light!
So my light is now green, the rolla beside me chirps his tires as he takes off, the Accord beside him is still stuck in nuetral. I start off with my turbo lag, just as the guy is shifting to second (Sounded like he was at about 5000 rpm when he did it) I am passing him with a smile. The Del slow behind me is still being what they do best (Being slow). By the time I get to the next light I am about 5 cars ahead of the rolla, 7 cars ahead of the Accord, and the del slow is about even with the rolla. He decides to run the red light ( I am long through it by now) so I watch the camera cxatch him as I go down my long drag stretch. This particular road just got a few new overpasses so its fast and straight with no cops for a long way. I finally stop acccelerating at about 110. Finally the slow pulls up beside me and passes. All he was missing was his blinkers for a perfect fly by. I toyed with him at 2 more lights before he turned off.
Now lets go back about 15 minutes. I was just barely leaving my parents when a new subaru pulls right on my tail. We both take a right onto the road we are heading to. He floors it as do I, we were dead locked. He wasnte getting away and neither was I. He ran a red light to get up one light on me, but my light was short so I pulled up just beside him as our new light turned green. This road is now a 3 lane. We both boot it over and start down a long stretch. Up ahead the left 2 lanes turn to go left on the road ahead, and the right lane turns right onto that same road. (Basically our road ends and you need to choose east or west to go onto the new road). The beuty part is that there is a light about 1/4 mile back from this turn. Sure enough the light goes red. I am now in the far right lane, but I want to be in one of the 2 left lanes. He is in the middle lane. And there is a hospital on our imediate left side (Just incase something bad happens). The light turns green. He gets a jump on me of 1/4 car length. Once again as my turbo spools and builds pressure I start passing him. I get about 1.5 car lengths ahead in time to move into his lane. Now I can turn left on this road. So I go left and then floor it out of the turn and he was playing catch up the rest of the way.
Oh I forgot to mention when he ran the first red light I saw STi on the back of the car!!!! No it was just a 2.5RS. I checked, it has 165 hp. So I am pretty happy that my 20 year old nissan was able to take him out.
Now I just need to get my car faster than 95ACC's. When we left the races the other night we both took off but he was slowly pulling away from me until he backed off the gas. I think his motor is fresher than mine though. And he has a couple things I dont. IE: BOV, and ground wire kit.
Once we both are intercooled and I have my BOV and ground wire kit I think we would be about even. Unless he wasnt really fdlooring it as he pulled away from me. I was though
