Nice work m8! :D
Would be sweet to have one of those.. a clip showing it "in action" would be nice ;)
Oh and btw, you gotta love the US and disclaimers ;)

How To: Install an Electronic Boost Controller
here it is as installed in my car

Alright here\'s a write up on how to install A greddy Profec B spec II into your turbocharged S12.
you will need....
1. 10mm wrench
2. wire cutters
3. wire strippers
4. soldering iron
5. Solder (duh!)
6. small phillips head screwdriver
7. tap or die (opt)
8. drill (opt)
First start off by buying one...
It costs around $300 USD I got this one off Ebay.
Then whip out the instructions and keep them You\'ll need them to know how to adjust and work this thing. Also in the kit should be:
1. two different sized vacuum lines (the smallest one is the sensor line the other is for the solenoid valve to control the boost)
2. filter
3. two little clamps (I didn\'t use these)
4. tri T to tap into a true pressure source
5. the solenoid valve assembly
6. two screws
7. a plate
8. a small bolt
9. two little brass fittings
10. two plugs (these fit in the solenoid valve in case you lose one)
11. two rubber insulators
12. plug with red and black wires
13. solenoid harness
Now to put it in. Start by finding a suitable place for it I decided to put it on top of my turbo timer and it is on the bezel below the radio. Like this don\'t mount it yet though
Pic does not show Boost controller
Now take the solenoid valve and use the 10mm wrench to screw the fittings into two ports on the valve. Now there are three ports on it labled NO, NC, and COM. go ahead and screw in on fitting into the COM port. Just so that it\'s tight.
If you have an internal wastegate on your turbo put the remaining fitting on the NO port. Otherwise screw it into the NC port. Then take the two little screws and put the plate on the solenoid valve.
Back to the control unit...
Plug in the two wire harness into the back right side (looking at the front) of the unit. Then splice the red wire with a 12V power wire that is controlled by the igntion switch (I tapped the turbo timers wire you could probably use the radio\'s). Then ground the black wire.
Take the small vacuum vacuum hose and cut it a few inches back from one end of it. Then put put the filter in it. The filter is directional and the big end of it should face the back of the boost controller. Then put it on the boost controller vacuum port. Then plug the solenoid harness into the remaining plug.
Now I poked out the rubber plug above the throttle cable and ran the lines and wires through there. mind you I also have an O2 sensor harness to go through this firewall too. This is the easiest part of the job. Just run a screwdirver or other sharp object through the plug (mine was dryrotted) and get rid of it. You can be neat if you want but I\'m not....
Here it is on the other side of the hole. It is right under the cruise control unit and up and to the right of the throttle cable. Just grab the line and wires and pull them slighty taught. Leave some slack so you can mount the boost controller where you want it.
Now you can either do the vacuum lines first or the rest of the wiring first. I\'ll show the vacuum lines first.
now take the tri T and then find a true pressure source. The vacuum line you pick must have nothing that will change the vacuum or pressure in the line such as the check valves or the fuel pressure solenoid in the above picture.
here is where I got mine from
right next to the throttle body is a port this port goes to another tri T which then splits into the pressure source for the pressure solenoid and the \"T-piece\" in this photo.
which in turn feeds the boost sensor which....
and soon on.
anyways then cut the boost controller sensor line to the right length and then put it into the T which has already tapped the pressure source.
At this point (If you haven\'t already) you need to find a place to mount the solenoid valve. Here\'s where i put mine...
Obviously my turbo is different from stock so your car may vary Smiley. If you do have to mount it in a different spot try to place it so your lines are as short as possible for best response. Don\'t try to put it on the power steering bracket it won\'t work... I tried. If you can\'t see the picture too well I have the wastegate actuators line going to the COM port. While the pressure source comes from the compressor housing goes to the NO port.
Now anyone who will do this the wires for the solenoid valve for the boost controller are way too long. So you\'ll have to shorten them and stow the wires and connector in a safe place. So cut the wires the proper length and put em some where safe. I placed it in the little alcove near the clutch master cylinder.
And that (duh duh duh du dAAA) is how you do it.
Stay tuned.....
P.S. Any questions
Oh by the way

Nice work m8! Cheesy
Would be sweet to have one of those.. a clip showing it \"in action\" would be nice Wink
Oh and btw, you gotta love the US and disclaimers Wink
nice work. 1 think you may want to do is rap the hose going through the fire wall so it doesn\'t rub and in time cut through it.
I did think of that. I\'ll have to wait until I have my O2 harness through there though.
edit: i changed the write up post slightly to tell you where to hook the vacuum lines where
Nice, Id like to install one of those in my car also Smiley
here it is as installed in my car
I know this is old but why is it not a sticky?
sideways_s12I know this is old but why is it not a sticky?
LOL, you would think?
mods can we sticky this please it is helpful
no sticky.
But its great to put this into the CA18ET howto/faq area.
