once completed.. how much will you be selling em for?

YellowPreludeRdate not saved · #5

well. Being it will be hand laid fiberglass and already primered, i will be looking at about $200. Nothing is final because I dont know how much he is charging me to make the molds and the fiberglass, but he said cheap. This will be a real steal for you s12 guys.

sundayssorrowgtrdate not saved · #9

that is a pic of my friend Joe's civic.. you can see the rest of his crap-tacular civic at his site: http://www.cardomain.com/id/joec3 (btw.. its an automatic! )

YellowPreludeRdate not saved · #13

it will be for the most part just like that, but with a little twist, because i just cant have what everyone else has :lick: Ill throw my own twist in there.

Hint #1. The stock turn signal buckets are staying where they are. So you can try to imaging that :) It just gets more interesting.

sundayssorrowgtrdate not saved · #14

dude that will look good cant wait to see the finished product. Now we just need side skirts and a rear bumper and we'll be good haha

YellowPreludeRdate not saved · #15

i dont even wanna think about it. At least my car is running and this is just a side project right now. We will think about it though.

Mr.200date not saved · #16

Daytona side skirts are really close, they just need to be cut down a bit, they're too long.

http://www.cs.rutgers.edu/~rjtoth/images/daytona.jpg

I have a set, one cut, the other not. I fell in love with the stock S12 kit again, but just in case it looks dumb with my CSX bumper cover

Then I'll probably have to do something for the back end

geoffdonkdate not saved · #17

ewww daytonas.

Indecisivedate not saved · #18

starions are better..oh wait..it's the same car..ahhah ;)

can't wait to see this new shit guys..

I'LL HAVE MONEY BY THE END OF THIS MONTH SO GET YOUR ASSES IN GEAR!! I WANT SOME STYLE!! lols

i know that s13 silvia side skirts fit without cut and shut!, i have them on my car

u basically fit the side skirt, and then mark out where the guards end and cut with a hacksaw blade, the results r cool

YellowPreludeRdate not saved · #22

if thats the real thing...like just a s13 bolt on...Ill just do that and save the $$. They got s13 R33 body kits all over the place for cheap. Lemme know what else was needed to fit that kit.

Bernadate not saved · #23

Nice!!
Is that an EVO3 front?
Car loks greate

YellowPreludeRdate not saved · #24

Magnum. I know you had the s13 front bumper fitted up to your car...what was the status on that? I was thinking of purchasing a cheap front s13 front bumper and have some fun with it in the fiberglass studio. My main concern is the side flares. I can fix those probally though. What year s13 body kits fit the s12 chassis? Like....89-94 ? Gimme some pics of the s113 that would work. Thanks man.

Magnumdate not saved · #25

Your right it's from S-13 Silvia. if you were to buy a fiberglass one you would need to cut the sides off the attach to the fender and fill it the 1" gap. I haven't done anything yet because I'm waiting for my intercooler so I can mount both at once.

YellowPreludeRdate not saved · #26

does it have to be for the s13 silvia coupe? Im asking because the grille section is different for certain body kits. Such as this.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7906706769&category=36475 That wouyld work right?

What about this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7906394737&category=36475

It looks different in the front.

Magnumdate not saved · #27

When I first ordered my front they sent me a 240sx one not the Silvia so I tryed it on to see how it would fit. Lets just say you would be better off with any body kit that has the plain bumper set up like the Silvia and not one that goes up to the pop up headlight like the 240sx style. I that first auction they show a picture of a Silvia but are selling a 240sx ground effects kit. Trust me it's much easier to start with a Silvia front. If you were to make some wide body fenders to match up with the Sivia front, it would just about be a perfect match up.

4GOT10date not saved · #28

ok, the front bar has 2 b from a silvia, not a 180SX/coupe!, the kit itself is about 30mm wider than the body of the car!, so there r 2 ways of doing this, the first is 2 cut the bumper right down the middle, take off 15mm from both of the sides and then shut it back 2gether with ur fibreglass skills, or the second way is 2 cut the guard and weld a 15mm piece of plate right down the middle 2 widen the front. that way u don't have 2 cut the front bar and have it warp when u shut it back 2gether(the way i am going 2 attempt later)

either way, u have 2 cut the bar below the part where it joins up 2 the guard. coz it is about 50-70mm 2 short, u have 2 extend it and shut that back 2gether as well.

the only problem i have encountered is ther rear bar, i have a brand new kit 4 an s13 sitting @ home waiting moddifaction and fitment. i dont want 2 do a widebody conversion ( Fisco style) not a big fan of boxy, i like smooth and continuing lines

any suggestions would b appreciated

YellowPreludeRdate not saved · #29

if someone could find a body kit online (ebay mostly) and post up a link for the correct one, that would be great...I need to know so I dont buy the incorrect one.

one like this. you want one for the s13 that does not have pop up headlights.

YankeeDrifterdate not saved · #31

I like that one! I want a front that looks really at home drifting

sundayssorrowgtrdate not saved · #32

that is what i want to! that would look sweet

YankeeDrifterdate not saved · #33

Yeah... my dad's got some experience w/ fiberglass, so I'll probably buy a cheap kit and remake it, and after i do it, for a small fee...

Alex Frostdate not saved · #34

Ok, so vaguely it could look like these??? 8)

I personally like all these front ends...8)

All these are from www.drifting.com (http://www.drifting.com) 8)

hengedate not saved · #35

i like the first one out of those 3 the best..

hmm.. looks like it might be time for some fun with photoshop

cjaedate not saved · #36

do you guys think a s13 front end conversion would look ok on a s12? i've always wanted to use at least the headlights...

wonder how close the fenders and everything would come to matching up...

Magnumdate not saved · #37

wonder how close the fenders and everything would come to matching up...you could fit the headlight and grill but the fenders are to long to fit. It would be easier to get the signal light grafted into the stock fenders.

YankeeDrifterdate not saved · #38

Yar dude :banger: ! That's what I was thinking. I don't want to worry about the headlight and whole front end, but I think I'm gonna buy a front bumper and fill in any spaces with fiberglass. That'll look decent... :D

sundayssorrowgtrdate not saved · #39

so who is gonna make this happen or are we all gonna have to do buy our own kit and do the work haha
