Nope. I have not looked around for a place either.

I found this one in Winterpeg. http://www.nationalcoating.com/Plasma_Spraying/plasma_spraying.html

Way to make me feel even more shame for my boxed steel log manifold.

:finger:

That's a sweet setup.

What are you using for the flange to the head?

Is the turbo going to be side mounted, or is that just a pretty way to show us your piping?

I gotta bottom mount mine :( stupid FWD turbos.

As for coatings, if you have a spray gun and access to air, you can always DIY.

Stuff like

http://www.graphitestore.com/itemDetails.asp/item_id/73/prd_id/54/cat_id/14/curPage/1

retails for under $100 US a pint, sprays on, good to 2500ºF ...

I was looking at getting a head flange either lazer cut or water cut, but to make it worth while I would need to have at least 20 made up. I think I'll see if I can start a group buy for the 20 to bring costs down.

Magnumdate not saved · #12

I will be making it a top mount with the turbo facing strait forward if possible.

Mr.200date not saved · #13

that was my plan until I physically held the turbo assembly in place ... I could do it, but it would require a custom O2 housing, and with my T2 dead, I don't have the time to dick around anymore.

Just gotta make it work ... *grr*

Are they really going to hose you that bad for the flange?

Did you want a 1 piece, or individual pieces, 1 for 2 ports dealy?

I'm going to be getting a 1 piece lazer cut shortly, and for free. I could ask him to do another one ... can't see it being very $

It's a computer guided lazer thing ... all he does is scan the EM gasket, and the computer will cut it out of whatever quality/gauge thickness I want.

He made my adapter plates, and they were great ... just my design sucked *lol*

Actually, if you have a design in mind beyond mine, and it will work with my design (pretty sure it would *lol* ... think RUDIMENTARY) I could just get them cut to your specs.

The place locally will do it but they charge $69 just it input the design into their CNC torch, thats why I thought it would be better to just have 20 made to spread the cost abit. Let me know what you can do and how much and I'll send you the money.

ok, I'm going to be seeing the guy tonight, so I'll just ask him to make a second one.

Last time he cut me a couple plates, it was free. His dad owns and runs the shop, so it's not likely there will be any cost beyond shipping.

I'll get it done, and send it out. If it works out, and you're happy with it, you can just owe me for the shipping.

I WANT A NEW MANIFOLD !!!! I will pay for one if you have it.

shit. if anyone that can make a new manifold that will bolt up to what I have....I will buy it. As long as it is better than the stocker and is built to some sort of spec like equal length tubes and stock flange mounting.

Can I get in on this deal? I need a set of those flanges too...
