Damn you kiwi's with your piss cheap imports :hit: lol

I suppose NZ has more fj20et S12 RS-X's than anywhere else.

If i were you i'd be picking up one of those, there's a fully mod'd one in NZ running 10.7sec 1/4 mile times. Even with the IRS.

HI
Im in Christchurch and have a Stock Standard S12 with ca18e, and if i have my way a few mods sooner or later. Brought the car for my girlfriend, but i drive it a fair bit. Was only 250bucks. Recently found a ca18et s12 at the wreckers so will be grabbing a few bits of it. Biggest request is powersteering. Anyway ive seen quite a few around chch, at least 3 fj20 ones .

I'm in Christchurch and have an 83 S12 RS-X hatch.
Almost as it left the factory but some emissions gear has been removed.
Have owned it for almost 10 years and is not my daily driver any more as it just doesn't seem right to dribble round the city in it.
Only major problem I've had was the head cracked and I had to find another.......
Still love it to bits (apart from nasty 2nd syncro - but I think the early jap owners screwed that on all of them....)
Cheers
Jon

Im in Dunedin and my daily driver is a 84 RS-X Hatch, Had it for 3 years now and like Jon the only problem has been a cracked head.
Did hear of another in Balclutha and although I've never seen it, Im told there is another in Dunedin

Well I am now the proud ower of a White 87 lift back with a some what dieing CA18ET in it..... set me back a whole $350 and then another $200 to get it to Auckland the car itself is in good shape and dont go to badly considering the poked turbo..... Ive got a CA18DET sitting in the garage ready to swap into her and then it should make for some fun times

Im in Christchurch also with an '84 turbo R-X in two tone blue and white formerly from Arrowtown I think. Deregistered at the moment sadly but I paid $500 for it and the turbo which had blown its seal has been rebuilt (props to One Stop Turbo Shop!!)... More work still to be done though...... I've seen only one other turbo RS-X (FJ20) but there are a few N/A models around. I think an NZ mailing list is a damn good idea especially for keeping up with tech issues and available parts etc.
