Well let me set the scene.........5km of windy roads, speed limit is 60km/h. On the passenger side, there's a rock wall, on the drivers side theres a 30m drop to the ocean below, only a flimsy guard rail stopping you from going for a swim.
ANYWAY.... Me and my GF are in the S12 cruising along when my mate in a Commodore (aussies will know what these are, for you o/seas ppl, its a large family sedan, 147kW, live axle rear, and about 1500kg weight!) comes up and starts tailgating me, thinkin he's king dick or somthin (his one of those kids whos folks buy him anythin, including a $13,000 car) so we come up to my fave streach of road and i nail it, from 4th to 2nd, pull each gear up to 6200RPM, geting up to near 150km/h then the 1st turn is coming up, dive on the brakes, heel n toe into 2nd and take the 90degree bend at 5000RPM.....wheres the commo........all outta shape as the dickhead behind the wheel thinks he can corner as fast as me, anyways with more power he catches up and then we go into the next corner, he goes slower, i do a repeat performance and i pull away, into the next, and so forth for about 20turns, at the end of this little road there's a turn around point, i had time to wack a U-bolt and park and turn off the engine b4 he made it to the turn around, so about a 30sec win ova 5km/h, with 1/2 the horsepower. I was happy!! the GF wasnt so.......women in the passenger seat, lol! I offered him a reverse run, withhim in front, he said ok, but after the 1st corner we were locked on and i had won....he thought you had to overtake to be leading and win........hahahaha he dont know the rules of touge racing! So the S12 gets 2 wins and the commo gets none, i was happy about that effort!
