Alright guys, this is how it works. I will edit this post whenever someone responds to this thread with a time from a 1/4 mile drag race. Until the slip is scanned in you will see a "ns" for "no slip" next to your name. Also, you may submit G-tech times but there will be a "gt" next to your time to show that it was not against an actual clock.

So if you have a time, respond to this post with car / engine information, ET, trap mph

No comments in this thread please. ONLY TIMES

Hi guys,

My car is a whits S12RSX. FJ20ET engine. 2.5in cat back crappy exhaust. Small front mount cooler. 13psi. That is all. At 2004 Jamboree in QLD, i ran a 13.9 @ 101mph. I was on 185 street tyres, with my esky and heaps of gear in the boot, just how I drov it to/from my house. I dont have my time slip on file, but my results were wittnessed by 30,000 people watching the finals of my time bracket. Some of you aussies out there might have seen me race.
Thanks.

Hello,

Just letting you know I finally got my S12 RS-X onto a decent drag strip in Australia and it ran as fast as 9.63 @ 147 mph. I've tried to contact this sites admin to let them know where they can pick up a video of a 9.63 @ 145.87 mph pass and the preceding burnout in the hope they will post it on this site somewhere so you can all hear the worlds fastest S12 and its FJ20 ET in action. I haven't got a scan of the timeslip, but I think the video will suffice for most unless they want the following incrementals:

rt .098
60 ft 1.42
330 ft 4.093
660 ft 6.244
660 ft mph 115.8
1320 ft 9.633
1320 ft mph 145.87

The tracks are so good here, I've left the car in Australia and may even try to go faster at some stage, but the stub axles begin to break at this state of tune, even if they are made out of billet tool steel, so I have to figure out how to get around that first.

cheers

Why don't you buy the Fast Fours Issue of the 2005 jamboree? His Time is in there because he came second in his bracket. In front of all them people like he said. I was there in the crowd. It doesn't get more official than getting presented with a trophy at the race presentations at the end of the two days.

Hey guys, I have G-Tech cars on the track and it was out buy over a second every time. It saying the cars were a full second faster than what they actually were. Example: G-tech time 13.4 @ 104mph. actual time 14.4 @ 98mph. This was done at Willowbank Race Way in a GT Starlet. We tested it 4 times and it was all over the place. :dontknow:

Bart, what were you against that ran a 12.XXX? Nice run!

NebuchernezzerApr 11, 2005, 7:37 pm · #28
so i can say im sitting in the mid 13\'s with a mph of about 103-104mph the track open this sunday so we will see

Pretty good estimates, you can see where the gtech differs from a track in it\'s mph though.  Gtech gives you mph as you cross the line, strip gives you an average of the last 60\' i think, so strip mph is always a little lower.

Here\'s is a slip my wife Cassie did in my gazelle. she was only running 10psi and reving to 6000rpm 14.210. Which is good for her 4th ever run drag racing. The car performs alot harder with 17psi and 9000rpm like when i drift race. I\'ve done 12\'s with a gtech but they DON\'T count.
So this one is for all the girls.
The engine is having it\'s 3rd build ATM should be finnished by the 10/2/06.
Lets see if she can handle some more boost and rpm.
