I wired my friend's Nissan Fronteir for an amp and 2 subs a few weeks ago, and ever since then I've been fiending for more bass in my hatchback.

What took the longest for us in the Fronteir was trying to figure out where to mount everything and where to run all the wires.. So little space in the cab..

..So I was wondering, where have all of you mounted everything, and run the wires?

Nothing fancy.. right now just this (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-fZDQ3am1wZC/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=3&g=300&I=133C3400&o=p&a=0&cc=01&avf=N&search=) head unit with these (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-fZDQ3am1wZC/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?s=0&c=10&g=52000&I=130TSG1640&o=p&a=0&cc=01&avf=N&search=) speakers in the rear.

If possible, I was thinking of moving those 6.5s up front, and putting 6x9s in the rear..

I'm currently shopping around for an amp and subs.. haven't decided what to go with yet, but I'm not looking to go with anything too hardcore, just want a little boom. I still need trunk room...

I suggest a single 12" sub then.

actually...thats prolly even more than you expect. but it's a good setup.

I have 4 guage, and it ran it parallel to the wiring harness on the passenger side (dirvers side for all you RHD guys), and there is lots of space there...8)

I can't remember where I ran my wiring ... I know it was supposed to be a quick and temporary install, which is why I ran the RCAs down the same side as the power wire (not supposed to do that, but it saved me the time of ripping out the driver's side seat + carpet). It also ended up being a ghetto permanent install because I was too lazy to go back and do it right :p

Since I got surgery and I have a camera now, maybe I'll do a step-by-step guide for amplifier installation :)
