here's what I'm proposing...(if you got a PM from me and read it, then you already know what this is about)

okay so dan has made up some club-s12 decals. for more info read this thread

I was thinking since were're all kinda close we could just have them all sent to my place and we then have a little mini-meet to distribute the decals and chill.

if you guys are interested send me an e-mail, give me a shout on msn or PM me back or leave a msg here(which would be better)

I don't know if you island guys would wanna do your own seperate decal distribution or whatever but if you're willing to come over for a day for this lil mini-meet thing, I'm letting you guys know about what I wanna do here.

originally I was just contacting the BC guys, but if you washington or even oregon guys and Alberta guys wanna come over for this that would be a lot cooler.

we could make this the first "large" scale club-s12 meet.

let's meet in the mountains.

to be honest it all depends on how soon everybody interested contacts me(so we can figure out how we're going to pay or what not and the date of the meet), when Dan gets these decals, and how fast they arrive :D

okay, for payment, this is what I was thinking. if there's a lot of us(which I hope), then everybody will give me their order and I'll just paypal the $$ to dan. and then at the meet I'll distribute the orders at the meet.

if there isn't too many people, then we send in the $$ ourselves and dan gives me a list of who ordered what and all the stuff is sent to me(so we all can just save some $$ on shipping) and then we have a lil meet to distribute the copies

so far all the bc members who have contacted me are 100% interested in this. one alberta member is a maybe, no american members so far, and no island members so far.

Depends on timing, but once the cadet swap is complete this sounds like a good way to show it off. :)

OOKAY...I'm talking right now to one of the head people of VDS(vancouver drifter's society) about when their next event will be.

if they're going to have one in sept I think this would be the perfect time/place to have this meet. there was an event just last sunday so the next one, if it IS next month would probably be late sept.

that would give us plenty of time to get all the $$ and plans together.

and if some of you wanted to drive in the competition I MAY be able to set something up. you have to be a member to join the competitions and drive on the course, but maybe I can talk to my contact about raising the event fee a lil bit higher and let you guys compete too w/o having to pay for a year membership.

but yea, these are all little details I'll have to work out. I'll try to get definite information as soon as possible for you guys.

but yea...if it is moved to the states then I wouldn't be organizing this thing...I dunno where a good place to meet and stuff would be or whatever.

but if people want it in the states and wants to take over then that's cool. so keep replying guys. basically everybody who's replied in here(plus a few others I've contacted on msn) are interested in going so it looks as if this thing will go through.

y dont the americans have an american meet and the canadians (like people from bc and alberta) have a mountain meet? cause im pretty sure alot of people here in alberta arent willing to drive over to washington i know i cant and netiher can the other 3 of us!

I will probably be in BC (Nanaimo area) with my 200 in November if all goes well with it. So I wont be able to make this meet but I might meet some of you anyway if you're in the area.

I live about halfway between edmonton and vancouver, we could try for somewhere around here or maybe in Vancouver, Just a thought. We also have a lot of windy mountain roads hehehe.

Just visiting...maybe some day move up there if I like it. But first I have to finish my time in the military.

I'm finally getting the engine into my car this weekend....I've set a date of completion at Nov.20th of this year. Just in time to make sure it works and then put her away again untill spring.... :wall:

it was pretty cool. lots of nice cars, lots of cool drifts. met a few of the guys and they seem pretty cool. we missed another member tho.

I'd be up for a meet.

s'alright. I was wondering where the last S12 was..heh.

Well, I'd be willing to organize a event. However it wouldn't be until next year sometime. I'll let everyone know ahead of time about 2-3 months or so. That way people can plan for it and get time off work/school.

Other thing I wanted to do was do a weekend S12 road trip...I've got a great route that would be fun. The route would take about 2 days to do. We'd have to plan for it in the summer of 05' Anyone game?

if I'm not working full time or if it's a weekend trip I'm totally up for it.
