I currently work for a performance shop in Butler Wisconsin. I was basically looking to see if anyone was interested in full front mount kits, down pipes, and exhausts made specifically for the s12 turbos. Intake pipes and other parts would also be available. Basically if you are interested please just add a post that way I can show the other people working here that there is a demand for it, and then the parts will be made. All IC kits would have a garret core with full 2.5" stainless piping. All exhausts would be 3" stainless piping, all mandrel bent. Hope this was the right area to post this thread and I look forward to seeing your replies.

I'd like to see a whole front mount IC kit and the downpipes sound good also.

sweet keep the responses coming and try to let people with these cars know about this thread, Tubular design equal length manifolds would also be available so no more trouble with turbo fitting. If there is a large enough response to this we will setup the program in the bender for everything and I'll put it on my 85 turbo so everyone can take a look at it on the car. IC kit may require the use of an electric fan ala any honda or dsm wired in to the car. If its a problem I can easily make a kit for that as well. Just try to think of anything that you guys could use for your cars that a shop would be able to produce. The shop is huge in turbo work, and custom setups, one of the workers has a turbo ka 240sx, I have the 85 turbo and a 95 talon awd tsi. Setups range from simple exhausts to twin turbo 350s. So if you think of anything you need please post, otherwise just post support of these parts being made.

A stainless steel turbo exhaust manifold would be awesome. I'm going to need a new manifold for the engine i'm working on here in another 6 months or so. An electric fan kit would be nice if it came with everything needed and at a reasonable price.

I'd be interested in the tubo header ,fmic, and turbo back exhaust.

Hi,
Nice to hear that, do you have a web site of the shop?
Do you supply autometer gauges?
If yes I would interest to place a possible order.
thanks,

alp

I'd be interested in the FMIC kit. Also, the exhaust setup if I haven't done anything with my shitty setup then.

Cheers;
Peter

nice. If you can do custom exhaust manifolds with the T25/T3 combo flange welded on, that would be AWSOME. Sign me up for one. A FMIC kit would be awsome too, but only if the price is right.

Yeah, I need an IC bad! but I hope it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg (makes it tough to drive) so please post some estimates. Thanks.

Thanks for all the response so far, if you have the option please post this link on other forums so we can get the largest response possible for it. I will post prices for products immediately after I recieve enough responses. I don't exactly want to post prices for products that don't exist yet ;) Regardless, the website is www.topstreetperformance.com the website isn't completed yet seeing as how the shop has been really busy as of late. My guess would be all kits would be similiarly priced to comparable products on other cars. Such as 3" downpipes for DSMS, and intercooler kits for comparable cars as well. The core would most likely be the smaller of the 3 options we have from garret so it wouldn't be as much as other kits. Please keep up the feed back!

As far as an electric fan setup goes, I could assemble one from used DSM electric fans seeing as how all of them with upgraded turbos have to get rid of the stock fans. In that case the fan would be used but the kit would be very cheap, otherwise if you want to call I could talk to you and figure something out using a slimline fan setup.

I would DEFINETLY be interested in a turbo manifold, and FMIC. You can put me as a definite under the turbo manifold, especially with a T3 flange. A downpipe would be good too, but depends on the price for the rest of the exhaust, I had my mind set on making me own... :lol:

But if the price is right... :guitar:

{edit}
Looks like a nice shop you've got there!!! Where are you guys located?

Tsibreddate not saved · #13

We are located in the wonderful heartland of america :) Wisconsin, roughly 20 minutes outside milwaukee metro area. The manifold would be most likely the most expensive part since it would be a tubular equal length made of schedule 40 stainless steel, roughly unbreakable :) Manifolds usually go for i believe 800 with that setup. I imagine if I sat down and made up a jig to make a log style manifold it would be much, much cheaper but not flow nearly enough. Downpipes including flex sections on average are 350 made of mandrel bent stainless steel. I believe the rest of the exhaust made of stainless mandrel with no welds or anything since its from the bender would be 750 including the high flow cat and and a thermal muffler. I believe the Fmic kit would most likely go for 750 with what ever flange for a bov you wanted. Intercooler kits would use a 450 cfm garret core, unless you wanted a larger one, full 2.5" piping, all T-bolt clamps and silicone adaptor hoses. Piping would be polished stainless for that oh so nice chrome look. If some one was very serious about a full setup, I could probably fabricate their full kit on my car and then ship it out, with a full manifold, turbo, all oil lines, water lines, gaskets, downpipe and exhaust, intake pipe, and a front mount kit. Basically you get a giant box and it all bolts right on. I need more people to post on here before I go ahead and make the jig for this roughly the response from 20 or more people would be enough and we are at 9 right now I believe and its only been a day:) So please let other people know from other forums with these cars as to what I am looking to do.

Bump for me

This all sounds great, but uhh, what about us non turbo guys (or gals). Would there be like a header for us. I know we could use the cat back from the turbo, although 3" is probably a bit much for the non turbo. How about a maf relocation kit, allowing is to move our maf to the opposite side of the car, or maybe just an air intake setup for our cars. Sorry, a little turbo envi. At least I may have an SE in the next month or so.

Bump this post one more time and it's going in the classified section.

If you're selling stuff, it's not general tech.

Tsibreddate not saved · #17

put it where it should go, sorry I didn't think it would go in classifieds since I was just gauging intrest in it. I would understand if I had prices and products available. Either way put it where it should go, sorry about the screw up.
