As many of you know, my car has a siezed turbo, I used a generic short ram intake and moved the MAF to accomidate this intake. I always rev my car up near and over 4K rpm and have never had any severe power loss. Today SUDDENLY when I revved the car (accelerating in 1st gear) bto and beyond 4K rpm, the noise of the engine got louder than normal and had more of a sharper sound to it. That was fine, but I also felt a drastic power loss at that point. This happened all of a sudden. I came home from work this morning it was fine. less than an hour and a half later I went drove down the block and it happened the first time I went to 4K rpm...
I have a few theories:
-Spark plugs
-Injectors
-Fuel pump
PLEASE respond ASAP with an answer to my problem. I know we have expierienced everything that could go wrong and have fixed it. Luckily I dont have to work tonight so i have a little bit of time... But I am in the midwest USA and it is 9:15am. To put this in perspective, for a normal person this would be 9pm. I work and night and sleep during the day. HURRY!!!
