Makes me glad I don't live in the Midwest... Hail is a very rare occurence here, although we do have the occasional hurricane...
Damn! That is CRAZY!!! I'm glad we never get anything like that. We just have volcanoes. LOL
We have earthquakes here.

new mexico is in the midwest???
Thats nasty, we got hail at the last drift practice day i was at (small non damaging type only but should have seen people scatter to their cars and try and find cover though, a carpark full of everything from AE86s to Z32s.
There was one isolated patch of window smashing hail in the town where i work but we missed it luckily (whew) we drove through 10 minutes after it happened, it was about 2" deep in ice everywhere, looked like it'd been snowing. Not a common occurance in coastal NSW :P, same thing happened 2 or 3 years ago though, we do get the occasional nasty storm.
that shit could kill people...

Know those very well. I think thats why my parents moved out here to the valley in November of '89. Out here there isn't really much of any of things like that. I think we had a river swell a few years back, but nothing major. I think there might have been a small freak tornado up in Oakdale just north of here. JUst gets down to the high 20's during the winter and sunny and hot during the summer with temps of around high 80's to the low 100's.

:slap: Sorry, for some reason I was thinking that was in Missouri or somewhere around there... What can I say, I'm an idiot!
Hey, I'll tell you what, I'd take earthquakes over hurricanes any day. I lived in Southern California for 12 years, and when we moved here, I've been through about 3 major hurricanes, and that's some scary stuff. With earthquakes, most of the time it's over before you really realize whats going on, but with hurricanes you have to wait and wait and wait for it to finally hit you...
I'm sure some of you know about Wisconsin... Anything can happen here. I remember one day it was sunny and 70 degrees outside, next day it was pea sized hail. I'm supprised weathermen here actually still have their jobs... they bullshit way too much.
Thank god for Canada, at least we know that the snow is going to come every year...and lately it has been so sparse that we hardly worry about snow until the middle of December...8)
