uhhh, Have no idea. Maybe its out of a federal emission truck or something. Or the car that it came from is from another country, say from Mexico or maybe even further south. Cuban maybe..?

Hey, it's a CA20S! Crazy. It must have come out of a truck.

didn't someone on the board have one? i think i remember seeing it in their signature...

I didn't think the CA20S came in trucks... I thought it was the Z24, and the CA20S came in early Stanzas, but I've been known to be wrong on occasion...

But it does have the distributor in the right place... Hmmm....

Yes, this engine is a looser and I don't think that they comes for USA.
Those are optional engines for Middle east countries or maybe for Africa as well.
You can find them as a option for the Altima (Bluebird) series.Where the small cc and cheap engines (comparable to cefiro / altima / V6 or inline 6 engines) gives a marketing advantage to Nissan.
Lot of fuel consumption, 90 or 100 hp max. weak crank, weak valve guides, weak rings, less a total life of 100.000 miles.

Aleady destroyed 2 different ones in two different Nissan (1991 Altima - 1985 Bluebird)

CA20S came in T12 bluebird's in Europe (86-89?). I had one, at least.. had it in my signature earlier :)

89bhp and has a consumption more than a midage bum down the street.

Still got the block, head and carb laying around if anyone is curious on details.
