I have just got off the phone to Whiteline suspension.
They obviously dont have any sway bars for our s12 BUT they will make a custom sway bar for me. This will be an adjustable item.
Sway bar will be 22mm thick and with the bar adjusted to full hard will be the same as a 24-25mm item.
Adjustable is $280-290 and non adjustable is $245. Only difference is the mounts.
Now I will be ordering these when my next pay comes in. that is in 2 weeks so the 21st of Oct i will be paying. If you want in on these sway bars then you must tell me and give me or whiteline the money b4 the 21st.
The fronts can be done but I am not going to take apart my front sway bar to do it, so if you want front sways as well then you must send in your sway bar to whiteline.
The bars will take about 1-2 weeks to complete.
Dont PM me please just reply here!

Rear sway bars -ADJUSTABLE-
This thread was saved without dates. "Around Mar 2005" is estimated from neighbouring threads.
the stock bar on US spec ca20e s12's is 24mm, save some cash and get one for a few dollars from a junk yard..... its not like your ever going to adjust it to less then 24mm stiff...
Well I havent actually decided on thickness yet. Thats was just an example i put above.
If the CA20E stock rear bar is 24mm... then
25mm is 18% stiffer
26mm is 38% stiffer
27mm is 60% stiffer
28mm is 85% stiffer
29mm is 113% stiffer
30mm is 144% stiffer
Its a custom made example so pick your thickness if your interested.
Also seeing as our cars are 15+ years old then i think a stock replacement would still be worth it.
Does Whiteline make one for a Z31? I know that my Suspension Techniques adjustable rear swaybar is made for a Z31, but it bolts right up on the S12.
That's right.... we are Z31 in the rear... so that WOULD work!
Spooled: How much did you pay for that? How thick is it?
DOH! I knew someone would ask how thick it was. I bought it so long ago, I don't remember that, or the price. I want to say it's 25 or 26mm. It can be adjusted to three different settings. I have it set to the middle setting, as the firmest setting made the car a bit too tail happy for hillclimbing and such. Probably perfect for drifting though. I bought it through my local Nissan dealership out of the Nissan Motorsports catalog.

so you're saying it cost approximately an arm, a leg, your left nut and your first born child?
*shakes fist at dealership's insane pricings*
will a 280ZX front one work in our fronts?
Well, you should be able to get it through any Suspension Techniques dealer, so you could bypass the dealership. I always buy through a good discount through my dealer, so I don't remember my ass particularly hurting after the purchase.
Don't know about the 280ZX swaybar. But Addco makes a front bar for the S12 anyway. It's 1 1/8" thick. Yes, I got that through the dealership too.

I think the aftermarket sway bars for the Nissan P/U's with the H190 have sway bars that can fit you solid axle gyus...
I will try to find out who makes them, they are adjustable, but I forget the manufacturer...
some live axle aus-spec s12s have a 22mm bar on the front and a 20mm bar on the rear standard (like mine).

hey you have the part # u used thru the dealer for the front sway bar
I can look into that Bart. I notice that it's mysteriously missing from my 2002 Motorsport Catalog. I haven't checked my 2004 catalog yet, but I will check it tonight. I went to Addco's site (addco.net) and they still make the bar.
