well wednesday afternoon i started a little road trip.. i headed drow from Raleigh, NC to my dad's house in Columbia, SC.. then from there we head on to Tallahasse, FL. the trip started good with this pic of a riced out Maxima:

we kept on trucking and eventually made it into some rainy weather.. here is a shot of us coming up on the clouds:

The reason we went down to FL was to pick up a '05 Porsche Cayenne,.. the thing that i find funny is that even people who buy expensive cars rice them out.. here are pics of the rear of the car and the engine bay (HINT: the Cayenne S comes with a V8, not V6)

at the dealership i saw some other awesome cars and snapped some pics:

On the way to the port at Brunswick, GA i got to drive the Cayenne so i took some pics of the S12.. i took a shot of my dad right when i drove by.. he wasnt expecting it.. and then i also took a pic of the S12 with the new lights:

still before we got to GA, i saw this truck carrying some infinities and took another pic:

when we finally made it to the port, i was amazed to see how many cars were sitting there.. literally thousands.. most of which seemed to be hyundai,.. anyways, i also saw this Volvo sitting there, just waiting to get "OWNED" slapped on it!

Leaving the port we went over this bridge and it seemed like another good picture time:

and finally,.. here is a final pic of rural South Carolina,.. one of the last ones i was able to take before it got too dark

uhhhh...so you own a cayenne S now  So you gonna keep the S12 or is it "beneath you now" hahaha
nice
sorry,.. i think i should've been more clear.. we just went to go pic the car up.. my dad sold it to someone in germany.. so we were just picking it up and dropping it off at the port in brunswick, GA so it could go on the containership
oh.. and look what i said about the Cayenne.. it has the V6, and a REAL S would have a V8... someone just decided to put a S badge on a non-S (kinda like putting a Vtec badge on a non-vtec civic) i thought it was pretty dumb.. and kinda ricer-ish
is the Cayenne a America only product like the Infiniti FX? Why would u guys need to sell it to someone in Germany? And if the car was for u guys I was starting to wonder WHY the heck did u drive way down there when I'm sure there is a closer dealership to u...but I can pretty much figure out why u guys had to go there to get it..
Ack. All I get is red x's except for 2 of the pictures. Problems?

no.. they do sell them in Germany.. but the thing is that they sell like hot cakes overthere and they arent able to get as many as they need b/c porsche only makes a certain number of them and what not.. so my dad finds them here in the US and then turns around and sends them right back to Germany and everyone is a winner.. the US dealership gets their money, my dad gets paid (which means i get paid whenever i help), and the guys in Germany get their cars.. also, i think its also cheaper to get them over here and bring them over (even after all the transporting and customs fees)
Well they work now...stupid computers!!:guns: :kicknuts:
