I am now offering front and rear strut/shock tower braces:

http://www.one-equals-two.net/MMR/Pictures/strutbar.jpg

Front braces use 1/4" thick machined steel mounting pads with a 1" OD .150 wall seamless steel tube running between them. These braces are extremely ridgid and are very low profile. No modications are required for installation.

Rear braces use 3/16" mild steel mounting pads with the same 1" OD .150 wall seamless steel tube that is used in the front brace. These braces have no bends in them and mount very close to the back of the seat. They attach to the mounting points for the rear seat latches. Other than notching your plastic, this bar requires no other modifications for installation.

Both bars come with new stainless steel hardware, MMR decal and instructions for installation. They are available in Metallic Blue, Red, Black and Silver and feature an MMR logo.

Prices are as follows:

Front Bar $100 US
Rear Bar $60 US
Buy both for $145 US

All prices are plus shipping. Shipping time is about 2 weeks for US or Canadian buyers. We ship internationally aswell.

Email us at [email removed] to order or if you have any questions.
WE CAN NOW ACCEPT CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS.

i'd buy the rear bar but not the front one since that wont clear the VG

MrBobdate not saved · #5

If someone has a VG car in the middle TN area that they would be willing to part with for a day, there would be a free strut bar in it for them.

Indecisivedate not saved · #6

will these be available whenever?

cause I'd be up for purchasing one in the new year(waiting for your economy to drop some more ;) woohoo...0.819). and I'm almost 100% sure but I may as well ask anyways. this will clear the ca20e right(seeing as it clears the ca18et).

MrBobdate not saved · #7

They should be available indefinitly.

Jsvob03date not saved · #8

is ohio close enough to tennesse?? crap, guess im out...

MrBobdate not saved · #9

Probably a little further than you want to drive.

Drfstadate not saved · #10

So the rear one is more like a 'room bar' than a 'strut brace'? (Seeing as it doesn't connect the the strut towers??)

There are no strut towers in the rear because we don't have struts in the rear. Connecting the brace to the shock mounting point would be the same as connecting it where it is. All it does is prevent flex of the body.

Hey my front strut bar came in today and it looks nice, but there is a problem with it, it blocks off where my power steering fluid goes in. So do I have to take off my strut bar every time I run aout of power steering fluid, and my leaks power steering fluid so I am filling it up all the time........

MrBobdate not saved · #18

How much clearence do you have between the bar and the cap? If its going to cause a problem for you, you can send it back and I'll give you your money back or fix the bar so that it doesn't cause a problem. You are the first person to have bought one.

oldschoolsilviadate not saved · #19

I just set it on top of the towers and the bar was sitting on the cap. I think I am just going too send it back so you can fix the problem.

MrBobdate not saved · #25

If its ok with you, I'm going to send you a drop mount that will drop the tank by 2". That should provide enough clearance for you to refill the tank. I can send it next day air so that you can have it by friday.

Sounds Good

Thanks

deadlydate not saved · #27

hehehe sorry for late response how much for the drop and the strut bar? and how hard is it to drop it?

MrBobdate not saved · #28

I'm going to change the bar so that it isn't nessecary. I will probably redesign the bar so that it is a multi-piece design. I have had some request from people in Australia and there is no affordable way to ship it the way that it is made now.

deadlydate not saved · #29

well I live in U.S.A just let me know how much and I will gladly pay it.

YankeeDrifterdate not saved · #30

hey deadly, it won't clear your V6

deadlydate not saved · #31

Radracer_Sdate not saved · #32

HOw much does the front bar weigh?

MrBobdate not saved · #33

About 10lbs, maybe a little more.

Jokes_TMC801date not saved · #34
